Well, there IS the possibility that all dark worlds are connected to each other in some way. After all kings castle did vanish when we sealed the dark fountain, but ralsei's town didn't. Though there's the argument that was cause the rooms were side by side too and in cyber worlds case it wasn't side by side. I'll leave it up to speculation but the fact ralsei is the headband makes way too much sense to be a mere theory, guess time will tell and we'll see if this ages like milk or wine.

@@parkerpeter9218 I think that's more likely to be their pencil, because if you keep the default wood blade in the dark world, in the light world Kris' weapon stays as "pencil". but if you buy the spookysword from Seam, Kris' weapon in the light world changes to " Halloween pencil". there's probably more examples of this in chapter 2, this is just what I can remember off the top of my head from chapter 1

I really like this concept. I’ve always seen Ralsei as the headband or the missing green crayon, but not in a way like this. It makes me think that instead of each object in the light world getting a dark world creature from the get-go, someone from the light world must bond with an object in some way before that object obtaining a form in the dark world. It actually makes a lot of sense, seeing the rooms these dark worlds are even located in. The unused classroom has a bunch of toys and board games, which have probably been played lots of times before, which lead to the creation of that dark world being created. Same goes for the computer room, which especially today, tons of people have “bonded” with those computers, which also created that dark world. So what I’m speculating is, when a person from the light world “bonds” with an object, and gives it imagination and creativity, that’s what creates a creature for that object in a dark world. As for the closet, people put tons of stuff in closets, so it makes sense for castle town to be able to store any type of dark world creature. Going back to the video, I like the idea of Ralsei wanting to fuse with Kris and “be together forever”. It’s a good intentions, bad idea sort of thing. Thanks for reading my rant owhdowhdishfune-

i am. VERY unsettled by kris’s only choices being ‘yes’ and ‘…’ … in the beginning of the game, ralsei tries to tell kris that their choices matter. even when they can’t REALLY speak up when under control of the player. so to see ralsei act so adamantly and almost pushy about something HE wants, and only assuming that kris will want the same- it’s very unnerving.

This is so bittersweet. I remember watching this like 2 years ago on an alternate account. Now I’m here watching it on my main account. Kris is so deeply heartbroken by the divorce between Toriel and Asgore, and Asriel being busy at college, and Ralsei wants to help them feel better. That’s so sweet. I also noticed that Kris simply selecting “Yes.” seems to imply that The Player has no control here.

This was way too damn good. It did feel pretty genuine and felt like a part of the game to the point I was actually wishing that this, in toby fox's version would appear in the game. The fact Ralsei is the horns is something no-one else thought of but makes way too much sense. Not to mention it even adds an actual parallel to Undertale. Assuming Kris IS Deltarunes version of Chara, then it'd be a parallel to Asriel absorbing Chara's soul. Props to you animator, this scene feels real and authentic.

That's a beautiful take on it, and Ralsei being the headband makes a ton of sense. Kris feeling like a burden in a way, not feeling connected to his brother, and family. Especially after the divorce, he feels alone. In Undertale, such strong feelings have power. To add on do we truly know the extent of power Determination really has if different soul types are even relevant or will maybe become relevant in Deltarune. I can't say enough on how many feels this little can made project has brought me!!

This is a wonderfully done. Amazing concept brought to life beautifully Also… I have a idea that ties this concept in with the roaring. This should be a subversion of the “your choices don’t matter” narrative, by having this be the only meaningful choice in the game. Imagine this cutscene happening in chapter 6 after the Knight is defeated. And no matter what choice you pick the roaring happens anyway due to a outside factor because of the prophecy. However If you say yes and decide to combine Kris and Ralsei the final battle against the angels heaven is a 2V1 and Kris has stronger moves. Ralsei will literally be with you in the dark. However If you intentionally stall the choice with … the roaring happens before you can wear the headpiece, and that makes the final fight a 3 V 1, with Ralsei as a separate person in the end game. The ending is technically the same due to the prophecy, but if you put on the headband you can bend the description of the 3 legendary heroes to give Kris a happier ending. (Also Snowgrave would probably speedrun this information by skipping the cutscene, and you don’t get a chance to put on the headband. I think it would be very ironic if even in the Snowgrave route your choices still don’t matter. And freezing Berdly and tormenting Noelle only changed the journey, not the destination)

I really like this... The only problem is the beginning of chapter 2. When Ralsei tells Kris to leave and get the stuff from the classroom, Ralsei would've disappeared with Kris. Susie would've been asking where Ralsei went while they left. This seems to largely debunk Ralsei being a physical object.

Pretty much liks sonic's super form but this one is more like a infinity stone snap. Light and Darkness combines, and no roaring, Everyone would be awoken from stone, from an eternal night to a balanced cycle titans destructing also gone.

This was a very interesting and holesome perspective but in my opinion there is a 100% chance Deltarune ends whit all fountains being sealed separating the ,, Hometown" world from the ,,Dark Worlds" forever , be it trough your kindness and acceptance or mercyless defiance(probably after the roaring has ended in both cases for dramatic effect ofcourse). Edit : I absolutely believe ,, Ralsey " is eather the horns Kris wore as a kid , The Scarf of Asriel December wrapped around Noelle to keep her from fear , a combination of both or even more items Kris brings by themselves to the Dark Worlds whithout the players knowledge as they are clearly working together (potentially to get rid of us) as we are not NEEDED in Deltarune, but rather - go on an adventure that isn't made for us , wearing a host as a puppet vessel and forcing them to act in ways they never would otherwise (be it whit pure kindness or pure evil in OUR heart)

I've had mixed comments but I intended to make this video unnerving. Kris doesn't need to change but being the only human in their town would probably effect their self image. They're probably weak in comparison to the monsters who can lift cars or bite their head off in the school hallway and I'm sure they'd be treated as the vulnerable child. I think in their mind becoming a monster would be becoming an equal.

Call me crazy, but I think this could legitimately work as maybe like the ending of chapter 6, especially if the Chess Theory is correct. Since the final boss of chapter 6 would be the pawn, and Kris fits perfectly here since they follow the same color scheme pattern of the other main bosses like King and Queen. They all have a mainly blue color scheme and hide their eyes. It could be a stretch, but maybe this could happen in chapter 6 and we end up losing control of Kris (or Riskie since I'm assuming that's Kris and Ralsei's fusion name)

The only armor in the light world and also the only one in both undertale and deltarune to change your overworld sprite. And in the mirror you would see ralsei. In the dark would kris would become a fusion between himself and ralsei. And ralsei would be kind of like a force trying to stop you in snowgrave but help you while help kris be able to control themself in pacifist.
