I have been driving a very long time. In the U.S. they are called "Student Drivers". I can honestly say I have NEVER harassed or given a student a bad time. I tend to give them extra room as needed, and give them breaks when they need to turn against traffic. I go by the "EVERYONE" was a new driver at some time in their life. They are nervous enough as it is, why make it worse? I know when I was learning, I was scared of hitting the curb (on the right in the U.S.), and hated the slow lane on a 4 lane road....I thought I'd hit the curb on every left bend in the road going 45MPH!
@rufusgreenleaf24663 жыл бұрын
@@edwardhugus2772 Licensed drivers don't realise their own faults and mistakes and would rather blame a learner instead as to them the learner doesn't know any better. So it's easier for them to dominate the learner in that situation. Back when i was new to my lessons i went no more than 55mph in a 60 zone. A white van driver tried overtaking me and almost head on crashed into a truck, he managed to cut back to our side after he overtook me but only just. I know the van driver would have blamed me for going too slow, when to be smart that wasn't the case.

I really suggest people to just put the car in neutral and obviously have the parking brake on when at traffic lights. There is no need to have it in gear still in my opinion. If you struggle with putting it in the wrong gear then doing this might help. Personally iv never had this issue so I cant really relate. You shouldn't have an issue with pulling off in time, unless you are not confident with the clutch. If there are many cars infront of you, then the ripple will give you more than enough time to get it in the correct gear and move off. Also try to relax more at traffic lights. Feeling tense and feeling the need to set off at the speed of a Tesla Model 3 at every traffic light is just an easy way to stall it. Just relax, thats what my dad told me, and iv never stalled since then.

What ass beeps at a learner driver? 6:54
@keith64003 жыл бұрын
The thing is that they have pulled up so close to the rear of the learner that they have trapped themselves and become frustrated by their own stupidity.

6:53. BMW = Big massive w****r. Shameful honking a learner, 7:04 is the overtake
@KobeWanKenobi3 жыл бұрын
I mean she was there for a while, if Pin didn’t jump in she could’ve stood there for even longer and it was safe to overtake
@maggiepp79973 жыл бұрын
It’s always BMW and Mercedes drivers 😖
@Anders537li3 жыл бұрын
The honking could've been because the bmw was afraid of her rolling back into it. The overtake is kinda a dick move though

I remember one of my first driving lessons when I was taking a right turn on a busy junction, and all because I was nervous (since it was my 2nd/3rd lesson) some person behind me beeped and kept on beeping. Now I've passed for 3 years I can say, don't beep learners. Everyone's been there and it really knocks your confidence when someone beeps. I ended up swearing at the guy who beeped and got told off lol

The "Oh no" part was mean 😂 The edits on these videos are brutal but with a bit more practice she should be fine. She's one of the few drivers on these videos that has had generally good observation on roundabouts and turning in to roads.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I much prefer roundabouts with traffic lights, and spiral markings! In my local area there isn’t many, and it’s like a free-for-all going around the roundabout 🤦🏻♀️ absolutely no lane discipline
