I hated how they all turned on Bree like she was to blame. They all helped cover it up Bree just did what she thought was best at the time yeah she should have been honest with them but I can see why she didn't tell them Susan was very close to breaking already and Lynette was stuggling and going through the end of her marriage. The only one who had the right to be pissed is Gaby since her and Carlos are the ones who are at risk of going to jail the other three had plausable deniability as there was nothing tying them to Alejandro.

I dont agree. I think its horrible how the girls treated(especially selfish Gabi) Bree after what she did for Gabi. Gabi is the worst of them. Lynette is controlling but i dont see her control her friends or situations they were in.carlos and gabi was at risk to go to jail and Carlos wanted to do the right thing, but of course Gabi didnt let him. theres no need to put your friends and their family at risk only cause you didnt want carlos to go to jail. And dont forget that Gabi got mad at Bree and didnt even defend her after what Bree did for her.

Susan was much more self absorbed, selfish and above all, hypocritical than any of the other girls, including Gaby and Eddie. Gaby and Eddie were at least up front and honest about being egoistic most of the time and both have many moments were they grow and show selflessness, but Susan... rarely cares about hurting others when she does something or decides stuff. When her marriage with Carl ended, she wasn't there for her daughter, her daughter had to be there for her because "poor me! My Husband left me!". When Mike went into a coma she very quickly found another man (Ian) because "poor me! I can't stay without a man!", only to break this other mans heart shortly after Mike wakes up from the coma. When Mike got into drugs again because he had to work his ass of day and night to provide because her ridiculous Illustrations brought barley any money to the table it also "Poor me! My husband is an addict!". When Mike and her got into financial troubles, she did soft porn on the internet for extra money without carrying about if her husband, her little son, her friends or her employer would find out because "Poor me! I can't live in an Appartement for too long! I have to live in my big house!". And finally: Who did the most damage to the girls cover up for Alejandros murder? Of course, it's Susan who vividly painted the crime on no less than 5 paintings that ended up being publicly displayed in a gallery because she showed them to her mentor. Why? Because "Poor me! I need the approval from my mentor! I can't live without it!" She's the worst! She also toyed with the hearts of men the most and generally has very little regard on if her actions hurt or endangered other people around her as long as she can convince everyone that she's the victim.

It was her idea to bury the body . Carlos was mad at her for his mother's hit and run that she covered up . When Susan or Lynnete suggested calling police , she made decision for everyone and dragged them into that mess. I hated it that they turned on her , especially Gaby , but Susan isn't the one to blame in this situation .

Facts but she didn't appreciate her as much. I mean she did but then she kicked her out and said they weren't that close. She only went to the bar with Renée to prove she was okay then have her leave. It's funny too because even though she was correct about not being a danger to herself suicide wise (no more attempts) she was slowly spiraling. It was more accurate to how an alcoholic would be as in thinking they have it under control but really they are slowly spiraling

It made no sense that they gave Bree the cold shoulder the way they did. She may have made some mistakes and been too controlling, but all of her actions here were motivated by a pure desire to protect her friends. And then they were just emotionally abusive towards her. Even when they saw her acting extremely out of character and hooking up with a bunch of random guys, CLEARLY going through something, Lynette actually said she's not their problem after how she treated them. The way they behaved was just incredibly cold and heartless. It's weird how they did a 180 when they found out she was drinking again and started caring about her again, but they should never have shut her out like that in the first place. If anyone should have been ostracized, it should have been Susan for drawing attention to them multiple times, first by making a big spectacle of herself in public over and over trying to get in trouble and second by drawing those paintings that were basically just an illustrated confession.

Actually, Susan is presented as the most moral character in the show. She always tries to be nice, even to people who treats her badly (Paul Young, Dick, Renee at the start…)and during the entire series it says that she always following the rules. It’s her nature so, all her reactions are, yes very triggering but completely logical. Honestly Gaby is the awful one. Why would she act so selfish when all her friends made such a sacrifice ? Shaming Susan and Carlos because they feel guilty, pressuring Bree into breaking up with Chuck, then shaming her because he wants revenge AND she convinces Lynette into rejecting her because of the letters ???? No that’s EVIL.

I remember watching this, for the first time recently, and I felt so disgusted to how the girls treated Bree. While Bree was going through her alcoholism again and being promiscuous, the girls only ever visited her once. They tried to intervene that one time, which failed, then they just went on about their Tom and art drama. I was like "what? Is that it?" Because interventions usually take multiple attempts; it's not easy admitting you have a problem, and those whom care about you stick around. I hate how the girls, seeing the multiple guys Bree was bringing home, just gossiped and talked shit about her. Then when they actually confronted her, they essentially stopped trying thereafter. I remember how alone and broken Bree felt before her suicide attempt. None of the girls were there for her, and she was the one who reached out first. When the series ends, and they all go their separate ways, a lot of fans were unhappy with the ending (they felt they should have kept in touch). But honestly, after seeing what Bree went through, were any of them *truly* friends? -- or were they simply women around the same age group who happened to live in the same neighbourhood forced to befriend/get along with each other? It makes me accept the actual ending more because it's less tragic.

They pushed her to break up with Chuck, which actually caused a lot of problems because now he had a vendetta against Bree and went out of his way to prove that she was guilty. Had she stayed with him like she probably would have without their influence, he wouldn't have done that and they likely would have been in the clear.

"There's no us, you're on your own". That says it all. Lynette at least had the guts to stop using the "You didn't disclose every new detail to us right away" excuse at the end of their conversation and reveal their true intentions behind ghosting Bree. They needed a scapegoat if they got caught. They needed someone to blame it all on so they can get out of this with a minimum sentence while Bree would get the higher sentence. They were ready to throw Bree under the bus if s*it would hit the fan. This is unforgivable. If those were my friends it would be over between us forever.

Gaby’s abusive ex-stepfather broke into her house and Carlos hit him over the head killing him, bree and the other women were there, and to save Carlos from going to prison bree decided that they would instead bury the body. To sum it up things began to go down hill and the women decided that they would put all the blame on bree and say it was all her fault.

Wasn't Bree the one who had the most pressure to deal with given that she was the only one who got Mary Alice-like threats in her Mail and who got a psycho stalker detective determined to proof that she committed a crime just because he couldn't handle her rejection? And despite of all that extra pressure that none of the other girls encountered, wasn't she also the one that did the best job of keeping up the secret? I mean Lynette told Tom, even though she swore to not tell anybody, Carlos almost confessed everything to the police while he was drunk and Susan... not only did she sneak out at night to talk to Carlos making Mike suspicious of her behaviour... not only did she tell Mike the secret... She literally painted the whole crime vividly and unmistakably on 5 paintings that she willingly and without a care in the world showed her mentor, that she barely knew, just to impress him which resulted in the paintings being publicly displayed in an gallery that the psycho detective saw... so basically a painted confession. I'm confused... why are they mad at Bree again?
