It is perfectly true. I am 31 and type 2 diabetic since my age of 29. My height is 173 and I was 83 kg Within 6-7 months I lost around 15 to 16 kg and now only 68. I started working out recently with a certified trainer i am taking whey protein and still my hba1c is 5. Now in a state of reversed diabetes. For me weight loss was not easy and what I learned was consistency and patience is the key. Now I follow moderate cardio (running for 30 to 40 min every day) and I never miss a single gym section. Not overdoing anything but I just to what my trainer say. And I always check my glucose lever every 2 weeks and hba1c in every 3 months. In fact my sugar level never spiked after I started an active lifestyle even if I take moderate sweets or carbs. I have all the medical records with me since last one year as proof. What this vijo guy and the other guy tells you is absolutely true. If you bring fitness in to your lifestyle you can either reverse or keep the sugar level under control without medicine. It worked for me and may differ with body types.
