Gravediggaz is the Rza's other group outside of the Wu-Tang Clan You should react to: Rza(a.k.a. Bobby Digital) ft Holocaust, Doc Doom and Ghostface Killah (a.k.a. Tony Starks) "Holocaust (Silkworm)"

I had this CD at 14 when it dropped in 93. Man this album and this song is a classic and still sounds just as good now as it did back then

Just discovered the channel, I love it. As a black dude and life-long hip hop head, its super appreciated that not only white people ( hope this doesn't sound racist) but metalheads, are seriously trying to educate themselves in our culture. Jill seems super laid back and cool, love that she actually does a little research. And I love that Ryan doesn't do any research. Adds a funny dynamic. I'm 42yo so I grew up on everything hip hop and actually can rap,so I can turn you guys on to some of the more quality music in the genre, and more impact full eras of change. I would like to request a few groups if you don't mind. The Pharcyde " She keeps passing me by" and " Drop" videos are great Also tha Alkaholics "Damn" and "Tne Next Level " those are two west coast groups from the 90s that aren't gangster rapp. I'll come with more later. Keep it up im subscribing

And The Beatnuts! Im 42 and ive been trying to get my metal friends to listen to hip hop since a teen. Industrial and hip hop together would be awesome. They both had the same beats in the 80s. Gravediggaz got that 'evil' we like.

I'm a metal musician and life long hip hop fan. I've always thought that that hip hop and metal were more similar than they are different. When people ask me who my biggest vocal influences are, I immediately say Chuck D. If it wasn't for It Takes A Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, I probably wouldn't have gotten into singing metal. It may sound weird to some people, but it's the truth.

At last! Gravediggaz. Pretty much any track from their '6ft deep' (US title)/'Niggamortis' (European title) is worth listening to. A shame that subsequent titles didn't match the inventiveness of this album with Rza and Prince Paul on production. Suggestions: 'Animal Rap' Jedi Mind Tricks ft Kool g Rap. 'Worst nightmare' Demigodz 'Mona Lisa' Slick Rick 'React' Erick Sermon and Redman 'Lafleur laflah eshoshka' Helta Skeltah 'The Show' Doug E Fresh and the Get Fresh Crew ft Slick Rick

That’s the RZA from The Wu-Tang Clan in the 2nd verse. Frukwan in the last verse from Stetsasonic. Producer Prince Paul from Stetsasonic and De La Soul. Johnny Mathis -No Love (But Your Love) sample from 1958. That album is great with so many great samples!

@@quirkypurple Prince Paul did the whole track by hisself but had give credit to RNS for find the sample and RZA gets credit because it went through RNS to RZA hands and the Prince Paul, who put the whole thing together… but on the on album RNS and RZA got the credit and not Prince Paul.
