Dickinson Arms XX3D shotgun for how much?

Picked up this pump action shotgun at Big 5 for $329 and so far it exceeded my expectations.
Shot hundreds of rounds through it and so far absolutely no issues with it.
Other hunting stores also carry them but lately they’ve been scarce and hard to find. If you can get your hands on one, buy it ‘cause it’s worth every penny. Cheers

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun with this shotgun. I picked mine up today from Sportsman's Warehouse on sale for $229 + tax, came to $249 with no other fees. They were listed normally at $329 and they are currently still available and on sale for $229 in case you may want to buy another one. Mine did not come with a hard case, just a regular cardboard box but I don't care for $229. The Dickinson booklet states that it accepts Benelli/Beretta chokes but do you know if they have to be the muzzle brake type that this shotgun comes with or can they be regular Benelli/Beretta chokes? The muzzle brake style chokes are very expensive. Thank you and stay safe.

Got this from a pawn shop. Not bad at all. She kicks like a beach tho so I taped a rag to the buttstock for extra cushion for the pushing! Now it's a very solid gun. Not gonna lie before when I'd shoot it with just target/small game loads a couple times it threw out my shoulder lol. Now it's just fine.

I have put 800rds through mine with about 6 malfunctions which were ammo related and operator related. Other than its been flawless. I paid $310 something last year. It has a Pinty Red dot off of amazon (keeping the whole set up cheap.) And even that has been out for 50rds of buckshot and slugs and still held zero no matter what. I love mine.

@@zxeuss361 Yes but with certain ammo only. It doesnt like Aguila anything. Stay away from Aguila ammo but Winchester and Fiocchi run absolutely flawless through it along with Federal. Hope this helps!

@@zxeuss361 I broke mine in with birdshot because I could only find that at the time but breaking in shotguns, I prefer to start off with heavy loads like slugs or magnum turkey loads to get things moving properly. Hell, my Maverick 88 shorty, choked up using buckshot and birdshot. Just a new gun thing. Also Happy Holidays where ever you may be!

The shot shell holder is tight AF. (At least on mine) You really gotta muscle out the shells and it's not real quick unless you got pilers or sum lol. Besides that and the lightweight nature of the gun the only other problem I got is the plastic rear sight. Not a big fan of plastic sights after dropping my carry Glock 3x or so. You might say why tf you drop it so much. It was before I got a holder and I carry it everywhere.

Awesome video how many chokes does it come with and which choke do you use for slugs?

Shotgun comes with only one choke and according to manual you can shoot bird shot, buck shot and slugs with it. They don’t recommend using any modified or other types of chokes because it can cause barrel deformation or injuries to user. I hope it helped. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I have one and it says it can fit 5 2¾ inch shells making it 5+1 but I can only fit 4 2¾ inch shells in my chamber making it 4+1. Is there something I'm missing? Are all 2¾ inch shells not made equal?

My guess is you need to pull the plug out. Not 100% sure tho but definitely look into that.

It's a good shotgun. Especially for the price. I do wish the stock was collapsible cause the length of pull is a little long for me but it's not a deal breaker. It is a fairly light gun so it kicks like a mule shooting slugs. Also, I couldn't get it to cycle mini shells. Either way for the 200 I paid I highly recommend it.

I was just wondering, when you received it did you have to pay dealer transfer fees? Reason why I’m asking is because I saw these shotguns online listed cheaper but when you ship it to your local gun dealer they will charge transfer fees which varies from $60-$120. @@balabay77 of course. $20 transfer and no background w/ ccw. Still isn’t worth $300. There are about 3 or 4 variations of this shotgun. All from Turkey and when imported, the American distributors slap there names on them. I’ll send you a list in a bit. All really nice… but not worth $300

I’ve picked up that fore-grip at our local gun show for $10 bucks but I don’t know how legal it is. Besides, it gets in the way when putting shotgun back in the case so I took it off. I bet you can find it on EBay, Amazon and many other websites that specialize in that stuff. Good luck.

Was it the same shotgun that you held in your hands when you first agreed to buy it? I think it’s against the law to do some type of switcheroo where store does a bait and switch especially when it comes to firearms. Check your original paperwork and see if serial number matches. If everything matches than you bought the same shotgun you looked at the first time you saw it. I mean shit happens and there’s a chance someone at the store dropped it. Maybe they can exchange it for another one?

You can install a mag tube extension. They're not hard to find, takes a very minor modification. This shotty also accepts upgrade parts & chokes from Benelli/Beretta.

Carlson’s and Nordic Components both make them, look for Benelli Super Nova, they work for this Dickinson. I got the Nordic +2 to make mine a 7+1.

I’ve picked up that forward grip at a gun show for 10 bucks but it sticks out when we put our shotgun back in the case and it won’t close all the way so we don’t use it as much. I’ve called sportsmen’s warehouse and they told me that this shotgun should only use bird shot or Buck shot ammo for smooth barrel shotguns. Slugs are designed for rifled barrel shotguns from what I’ve been told. Also, slugs will damage the muzzle break chokes and ruin the barrel.
