Hi Pete, when you are searching for a sold item and eBay directs you to one that is active look in the upper left corner above the active listing and you will see this: "The listing you’re looking for is no longer available." click on the word "listing" and it will bring you to the page with the sold product.

If you are looking for a sold item and eBay redirects you to an active item you can click the word "listing" in the blue text and it will bring you to the original listing you were looking for after you click the "See original listing" option again.

Great video Pete, All of the issues you talked about with eBay lately i have also had issues with as well. The fee from 30-35cent was a big change they did not mention to me at all. And all of the other crazy glitches has me pretty upset. But its all about who can adapt and over come so i am pushing along to get ahead.

I noticed thins changed yesterday all of a sudden my listing have sales benefit charity. Called twice and they said to call PayPal. Whaatttt? I tried to revise via mobile and then had to do it on pc. Today when I relist the sale the sale benefit charity comes up again. Their advice was to go into my 386 items to check and fix each one. Huh?

Also there is something strange going on with sponsored items as well because they do not show up in searches at all. They only show up on a listing on the bottom of the listing where they have recommended/similar items by other sellers. Those sponsored items were cheaper as well.

You can still go into the sold listing!!! Click the highlighted word "listing" where its sayinf it sold when showing the active similar listing. That will take you to the actual sold listing and then click on the "sell it now", t h e listing opens up and scroll down and under the pic you can click the sell it now... Hope this helps... I agree very frustrating!!! Boooo ebay!!! 😕

It seems like ebay gets worse every week. Every time they try to make it better, they make it worse somehow. The functionality of the site has gone down the drain, not to mention that lately people are having problems even searching the site, getting errors. The prices go up, and the functionality of the site plummets. Only on ebay I guess. I really wish there was a good alternative.

You can still find the info on the sold search item. Click on the word listing. It is a different color. That will bring you to the original listing you wanted to research. The listing you’re looking for is no longer available. Check out this similar item we found for you. click on the word listing. Brings you to the actual item. Works on PC not sure on mobile.

It could be my really old iPhone 5S, but on the eBay app when I search SOLD items, the prices used to be in GREEN font so it was easy to notice the sold price. Now the sold price is plain old black font like it is on active listings. It's dumb, but I like to see the green font just so I know for sure I'm looking at the sold prices. Again, could be my iPhone since it's old but not sure.

It sounds like they may be slowly doing away with the "solds" listings. They purchased Terapeak a while back and are supposed to be integrating that software into the eBay site. I would assume it has something to do with that issue. The problems for sellers on eBay are endless and occur on a daily basis. Last week, I had over 200 active listings all changed to Priority Mail for my shipping method. After about 6 hours of my time on the phone with customer service, all they could tell me was that there is nothing they can do, and that they don't go into listings and change things. It took me about another 10 hours to go through manually and edit each listing, and it still isn't completely fixed. I'm considering going back to school to get my Master's Degree and throwing in the towel on eBay after 12 years!

You may want to sign up for an eBay store. Crunch the numbers. Yes, you have to pay a monthly rate but listings fees in both fixed price and auctions are free for a certain amount based on store size. Once you use up the free ones they are still lower to list. Some final value fees are less depending on the category. And you get some free shipping supplies each quarter to compensate - some are better quality that others.

Just so you know when you list quantity items you should list it as GTC. For some reason multi qty listings that are not GTC may sometime relist out of the blue.

It seems like I'm seeing a big difference in the # of sales I get when you using or not using the word vintage.Almost like ebay is trying to get rid of the word. I'm not even sure about this yet I just noticed it yesterday but I have a big sale going on this weekend and can't investigate it yet. Anyone else noticed anything in this direction?
