5:11 lonzo missed 2 years of basketball, Brandon Ingram’s own team doesn’t want to pay him , Julius randle is horrible playoff player and is a big red flag for contending teams . while losing kuzma and hart hurt , i would do the ad trade all over again and 10x over
@Ichifate14 күн бұрын
Randle wouldn’t have to be the no. 1 in the playoffs, who’s to say Lonzo, Kuzma, or heart would get injured on the Lakers? That’s a weak argument. Who has developed aside Lebron? Pippen developed aside MJ, Pau is outspoken about how much Kobe helped him get better, but Kyrie is the closest thing Lebron has to either of those and he didn’t really develop alongside Bron, he stayed the same. Bron holds talent back, I’m sorry it’s the truth. All these players may not be where they want to be now, but seeing all their potentials and what they were able to achieve individually along their own paths it was clearly a bad decision and only proves that Lebron holds players and teams back.

@@NCOMBHOODIELol no the other guys right. Lebron definitely holds players back and really showed he was a bad leader with the young core. Not worth the trouble. He even holds AD back. Now AD would've been worth grabbing in free agency to replace Randle. Other than that the young core had serious depth. It definitely wasn't worth it for half a championship, two missed play off and multiple play ins just to get in.
@NCOMBHOODIE13 күн бұрын
@ there’s no such thing as a “half championship” and depth to do what ? win a title ? 😂😂😂

@@NCOMBHOODIE Lol, I think we would've made a few changes to be a championship team. Like maybe get Kawaii instead of LeBron right after he won on the Raptors plus all that depth oh man. Kawaii doesn't deal with the Clipper curse so he's somewhat healthy. Also yeah it's a half a championship dude or like clearly an asterisk championship.
@brandoni24114 күн бұрын
The issue is people expect teams in this period to win multiple championships in this era. No team can do it. The Bucks haven't even been back to the ECF since winning. Denver is panicking now to make moves because they got one title and that's really all they were going to get. This is Boston's last season to get a title. The Warriors is the only team that have been successful and they made a lot of changes to get it done each of those times. Teams change way too much. That Lakers core before LeBron was basically going to be a first round exit. Randle was already leaving. Ball would still have hus injury issues. The thing that really hurt the Lakers was the Westbrook trade. It depleted their roster when it wasnt necessary...
@roslolian1114 күн бұрын
They won a ring thanks to Lebron and AD trade. If you look at all the pieces they traded to get AD, Josh Hart seems like the best piece and he is a role player. Lonzo Ball is perpetually injured, Brandon Ingram is on the trade block and Lakers actually signed Jaxson Hayes who was the 4rth lotto pick the Lakers gave up as part of the trade. Meanwhile Pelicans havent gotten to 2nd round even once since AD got traded pretty clear who won the trade.
@JuliusMartin-td6nj14 күн бұрын
Don’t get me wrong that history lesson is cool and all but he hasn’t done anything for us since the peak of Covid 🤷🏽♂️ I appreciate the championship he did bring. But at the same time lebron has also missed the playoffs more recently than he’s won us a championship. And didn’t exactly do us any favors demanding the front office to get rid of house for Westbrook or drafting bronny. I would rather trade and look to the future and have players who aren’t as demanding as opposed to fighting for a play in spot just to get our ass kicked by Denver again. Still impressive what he’s doing for his age for sure 💯 but in the grand scheme of things it’s not championship caliber and may not even be play-in caliber
@roslolian1114 күн бұрын
@JuliusMartin-td6nj You act like the Lakers would have won a championship if Bron didnt bring in AD with him. Also, you didnt mention the Lakers pursuit of Kawahi or Paul George, both anticipated moves helped clear the caps for a monster big 3. Lebron didn't cripple the Lakers, yall won a 'chip regardless of how anyone attempts to downgrade, remained relevant, Bronny's jersey has made up for any Euro stash pick, and the Lakers coaching decisions were questionable, at best. Refused to make any moves to get any vital players. Refuse to actually get a center, made a horrible decision in Westbrook because they were desperate for anything. The franchise is dis functional from the top down, and they will go right back obscurity after LeBron leaves.

The lakers didnt give up too much for AD🤣only one player that wouldve made the lakers better was herb jones other than that the draft situation for the pelicans have gone all bad. They also traded a lakers first to the hawks for Murray who barley even played for them. Randle was good for a year and ruining team chemistry for a young superstar in edwards. People bring this topic up but it’s easy it’s ownership and management that’s always been the problem just like the Dallas cowboys but people hate bron so it’s just to say bron

No matter how you slice it he saved the franchise. Anyone who knows ball knows the utter shit show the lakers were for the last four years of Kobe’s career onward. The only redeeming season was 2016 because he retired so they had a narrative to run to drum up buzz. They’ve seen more relative success including playoff (appearances and a championship) in Brons stint than most organizations have in the last decade lmfaooo. The attendance and viewership increased as well as jersey sales and notoriety. But because it’s Bron they only will acknowledge that he “should have won more” when his coaching suggestions were repeatedly rejected as well as personnel changes, and they blew the championship cor thanks to pelinka as noted by multiple players on the 2020 team. Tis the cycle of life 😂

LeBron is too selfish now and is hurting the Lakers. He's good enough where you win with him but not good enough to make a deep playoff run
@WD-fn8qx14 күн бұрын
So let me get this straight, under Lebron, Lakers won NBA championships(bubble or not) won first NBA cup (hate it or love it) loss to the defending champs in the playoffs all while yes being a somewhat dysfunctional organization. Any other team not named Warriors, Celtics, or Nuggets would want that resume. Yes, moving forward there are challenges, but that’s the NBA, the game is continually evolving and LeBron has won throughout all of it

this shit is hilarious to me bc a lebron team the only team someone finna make a video about. the lakers traded assets to win a title and make two conf. finals. something most teams do to try to get that one. and then they try and recoup their assets later. the clippers gave up everything for Kawhi & PG and it resulted in 1 conf. finals where they got bust by an inferior team although Kawhi was injured. Knicks gave up everything to try and do the same, nets gave up everything for the big 3, suns gave up everything to do it with Beal & KD, timberwolves did it for Rudy & Warriors are most likely going to do it within the next month or so. yet the only team in the entire group that won a title is the lakers and LA still has more drafted equity and even young guys than half those teams. it’s only cuz it’s LeBron James and the Lakers that its looked at as a failure bc they didn’t win two rings

The Lakers organization died the same day Dr buss did we just didn't know it, LeBron delivered on a championship since then Rob palinka and Jeannie Kobe friends are making sure lebron never wins anything else that's why he blew up the championship team Jeannie's drafting Lonzo ball over Jayson Tatum and not hiring tylue and taking DELO instead of Kyrie she has ruined this franchise but being a woman she gets a pass from the media and lebron gets all of the blame 😡

He stunted the Lakers and has totally embarrassed them they now look like a pathetic franchise. Especially since the “championship” was in 2020 when half the league took the year off and it was a short season. 2020 didn’t count we all know it

The lakers were booty before LeBron he brought them a banner they have been relevant what bugs me so much the fact the lakers besides being so valuable are cheap and dont spend in the luxury tax like the Celtics and warriors have spent so much more obtaining and retaining talent the fact the lakers have a family ownership that depends on the teams income versus other owners that are billionaires and willingness to spend big money the lakers without bron and ad would have been the pelicans with no Zion none young talent would have been close to take us anywhere Ingram the best player has most execs questioning what he is worth you expect me to believe paying Ingram so Randle we would be a player in the NBA the major mistake was Westbrook and going away from what always worked With bron defensive guys and shooting letting go of Caruso and Malik monk becuase they are cheap it’s been the same ol lake shit show they been since the beginning of the 2010s at least they hung another banner and at the worst if the lakers were smart could trade bron for young talent and draft picks and get off Anthony Davis easy he is a top 5 NBA guy for a load similar or more they traded for so the video should be how the lakers stunted LeBron and Ad u mean ad played 95 out of a 100 games and bron been there enough the problem is they need those guys to be there every night to compete becuase they have no depth but it’s the lakers fault not LeBron considering he brought Ad and a title they still have value and I feel the lakers have never gone all in on bron it’s been a major disappointment that deserves a deep dive
You LeBron haters and Kobe dck riders sure love overlooking Kobe’s last 3 years

The lakers didnt give up too much for AD🤣only one player that wouldve made the lakers better was herb jones other than that the draft situation for the pelicans have gone all bad. They also traded a lakers first to the hawks for Murray who barley even played for them. Randle was good for a year and ruining team chemistry for a young superstar in edwards. And he is inefficient as hell and a ball stopper. Ingram bout to be traded because his team says he isnt worth the money he wants. Lonzo is averaging 5 points a game on a terrible bulls team. Kuzma is struggling for the worst team in basketball and is currently injured.
