the sad thing about the fight is that Warren and Charles are going around ingraining that Usyk is a cheat, that he paid the ref and DDD is the real winner of the fight. They will never apologise as they want to destroy Usyk's reputation. It also damages DDD as he may not reflect on the fight as his coach and promoter are telling him he won. So he may not grow as a fighter and never reach his potential.

People need to actually learn boxing rules before commenting, You can't hit below the belly button... it doesn't need to be the balls like some people think. Usyk is wearing his shorts relatively low compared to a guy like fury who wears his shorts/belt line super high so low belt line shots for Usyk are, it doesn’t matter where his shorts are it’s up to him below the belly button and therefore illegal whereas belt line shots against fury would be legal (there are many angles and times during the fight and after where you can see Usyk's belly button peek out of the top of his shorts...) Whether it hits his balls or not is ultimately irrelevant. It's a low blow. This is also why during the fight anytime the belt was hit he'd point to the ref because this was made clear by the ref before the fight that belt shots would be low blows based on how low his shorts are..

First, was that single blow the only opportunity Dubois had to defeat Usyk? It's disappointing to see such a limited performance. A true champion, like Usyk, seizes numerous opportunities. Even if it was a low blow, it seemed like a stroke of luck because that's all he managed! Second, did Usyk cheat? Did he bribe the referee? If not, it's hard to believe that Usyk, or any fighter for that matter, would challenge the referee's decision in that critical moment! And third, if the referee deemed that blow as legal, who's to say Usyk couldn't have recovered and fought back with the surge of adrenaline caused by the blow? That type of hit stings but doesn't necessarily knock you out!

The shot was borderline but in my 40+ years of watching boxing I don't remember seeing a belt line shot ever being called a low blow. But whatever, the right man won. In the replay if you look very closely frame by frame, you can see Usyk's shorts shift while Dubois punch is still about 2 inches from the spot along /under the beltline where the punch stopped. The punch at least grazed the cup, if not actually catching the corner one the way. The punch came from a very low angle and hit a lot more on the upswing than just a picture of the final end point would suggest.

For me it’s a low blow, and yes, you can argue that another ref might have deemed it legal and started counting. However, if that had happened I’m sure Usyk would have gotten up (it all ifs and buts). What we do know is Triple Knee was out classed, lost every round and ultimately quit when he knew he had no chance of winning. The right man won, and the fact Don Charles and Brick Top are calling Usyk a cheat is ridiculous.

I have watched this fight multiple times now and have looked at all cam angles and it was a low blow, usyk did take advantage of the full time which anyone would, DDD was making loads of low blows all night, the biggest talking point should be should DDD really be fighting in 12 rounds as he cant last past 9

As Gordie said, low blow don't need to be in the groin. It was a shot in Usyk's bladder. Plus, Dubois was warned many times about low blows, one uppercut already was low and one hook had hitted Usyk's butt. So yeah, a low blow of many throwed by Dubois. And for Christ's sake, it's a looping shot, the impact was almost in the complete bladder region. It's a upper, it have a way bigger impact area than a straight, it's obvious.

Fury is Warren’s cash cow. Dubois is his pawn to try and damage Usyk to a point when Fury feels he can beat Usyk. Up until then Fury will duck him. Warren knows Usyk will fight anyone, had mandatories waiting so will only sign up to fight his golden boy Fury when Usyk has either taken punishment against others or has lost his skills due to ageing

I think this whole controversy has opened up that question. Turns out the only one who seems to know the actual rules…in any language…is Usyk. Even the waistband of his shorts comply with boxing regulations…! “Bart Simpson’s” they’re the ones that Fury pulls right up to his saggy tits, are apparently illegal. Seems that by stirring up this argument and calling Usyk a cheat, Warren & Smack Em In The Mouth Charles have opened up a foot of Fury’s previously unseen legitimate body…!

FACT #1 - the trunks were sitting HIGH in that round - watch closely - Usyk KNOWS the body shot is coming and he bends at the hip to better absorb the blow - this pushes his trunks HIGHER up his body just BEFORE the point of impact - I call it a FAIR and punishing body shot - re: Usyk's evasive action resulted in the "low blow" MORE than Dubois targeting it - FACT #2 - MOST referees will allow for shots to the belt as the trunks often run "high" and this is a legitimate body shot - this referee was WRONG to permit above the belt only - it might have made his job easier but it is clear that a belt shot is usually NOT the same as BELOW the belt shot - yes I used to be a boxer and I think the shot is legitimate - I would expect to take this type of shot in the fight - I might not like it but it would be expected - FACT #3 - would Usyk have risen on a 10-count - I THINK he would have and he would have continued to survive the round and come back late to STOP Dubois - FACT #4 - Dubois QUIT late in the fight - he has a bad habit of doing this - the strategy was clear - go to the body - Go to the Body - GO TO THE BODY - guarantee you that EVERY boxer who fights Usyk next will go BODY BODY BODY all day long - so if Usyk thought that was "illegal" he better get ready for a steady diet of it - MORE are coming - FACT #5 - he may have been winded - the punch hit the LOGO on the belt which is CENTRAL shot rather than side shot - so he my have been winded to go DOWN LIKE A SACK OF POTATOES .... FACT #6 - Usyk did NOT make the call - Usyk did NOT embellish the damage - point being - Usyk WON and likely would have won with a 10-count - a re-match ? = same outcome - Dubois beat himself in the end - Usyk needs to do MORE core because his tummy is going to get mashed up next fight

None of the glove was in contact with skin! It was a low blow end of. Usyks naval (belly button) was apparant in the fight at the top of his belt. There needs to be a margin of error to protect masculinity. Usyk beat Dubois fairly and easily.
