Something interesting note, the fade-out to the credits where the song is continued was not run-by George Lucas, for fear that he wouldn't approve of it. But when watching it live he very much enjoyed the change.

That's not true. They didn't show the fade in earlier unfinished versions because they feared he wouldn't approve. They only showed him when the episode was completely finished so it could pack the emotional punch. Lucas did approve though.

Almer Akbar That makes sence, the Clone Wars was practially making a movie every week. Everyone complains about the Rebels art style, when it is probably more sustainable. Plus, most of Rebels' budget went into voice actors in the first season: Freddie Prince Jr., Venessa Marshal, Ted Blume.

You missed a big one. During the Onderon arc, when the Droid General orders the gunships to attack the rebel hideout, said gunships acknowledge the order with the phrase "By your command". This is a reference to the Battlestar Galactica series. The quote was frequently used by the classical Cylon Centurions when accepting orders. This combined with the gunships funtion could be nod to the Cylon Heavy Raider from the reimagined series.

Here's a few facts I found out. -The Droid Professor Huyang was voiced by David Tennant, who's best known for playing the Tenth Doctor in Doctor Who and even won an Emmy for his performance on the show. -Saw Gerrera was originally created by George Lucas for a live-action TV series he was developing, which ultimately never happened, but he found a place to put Saw into a story in Clone Wars. -The design of lightsaber assembly was inspired by the Build Your Own Lightsaber activity center found at the Star Trader shop at Disney Parks. -Dave Filoni along with the writers, decided for the Onderon Arc to end with the death of Steela, because in his words, he wanted to depict that "there had to be a price paid for their freedom". -The speech pattern, name, and habit of flipping his visor to punctuate his speech of the Droid Rusco-ISC are all nods to actor David Caruso and his role of Horatio Caine on C.S.I.: Miami.

I finally watched this show and finished it last last night. Idk why it took me so long to give it a chance, but I’m so glad I finally did. Getting to know Anakin as a character (and not Proto-Vader) recontextualized the entire saga, and has made RotS infinitely more tragic. Being able to binge it was an amazing experience (and I can’t imagine having to wait week-to-week/season-to-season for new episodes). It was chilling watching the war play out only to realize the Republic had gradually transformed into the Empire. By the time you noticed it, it was too late

I fully agree with you that Savage Opress is not an evil person, rather he was made to do evil things. I feel sorry for Maul to lose his brother at that moment and was thinking to myself, what would have happend if Maul if he in this moment of rage and sorrow. When his connection to the dark side was stronger then ever, killed Sidious. from there alot of things would have look diffrent for exampel no Anakin turning to the dark side by the direkt manipulation of Darth Sidious anymore. He can still turn to the dark side or he just stay a jedi in a crumbling system during a war that was going to end in a diffrent way. what do you think about that outcome?
