I put a bias modulator on top of a sine LFO. Turned the bias all the way up and got an LFO peak of 2. I came back to this video to understand what is going on, thanks. Quick tips like this are very useful.

This is great. I've been trying to wrap my head around a global transpose, based on an incoming bass note. Think this will do it.

Would love to see this! Maybe you can make a video when you figured that out

@@lawdviola Sorry, i couldn't figure it out. had a macro at project level to transpose, but i couldn't affect it from the grid. 🤔

i made a tutorial about a global transpose recently, maybe it gives some ideas? kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWLFaWB7ZtB9iKs

@@PolarityMusic thanks, that's what I was trying to do. Trying to do it at Project level wasn't working. Incidentally, IS there a way to modulate Project macro's other than automation lane?

Boring, perhaps, but great tool to have handy (I find these technical tips and tricks to be the most interesting actually)

I have a modulation problem. I want to use segments to slowly open a filter over like 2 bars. then I want to keep that filter open for however long I want, then use another segments to close the filter. Basically using modulation to undo the modulation. Modulation inception. I am triggering the segments with a button. All in the grid. There is probably a better way that I haven’t figured out.

but segments has a "hold" mode, the small icons below the graph. in hold mode the red line is held as longe as gate is high. and on release in continues the graph. is this not what you want?
@brokenrazor770811 ай бұрын
@@PolarityMusic yes. I didn’t realize that was an option. Thanks.

to answer the title, yes I did know since at least 3.0 😛
