A12 volt 20 amp regulated power supply about $20.00 set up to float your battery and run your heater with with or without a battery. Check it out, they only way to go.. ebay $21.00 free shipping a few bucks more if you want a 30 amp unit. And it will keep your rv battery charged to. Better than store bought battery charger because you can dial it in to float your battery avoiding overcharging and cooking your battery.

Thanks! I do enjoy doing these kind of videos. During editing I realized my lighting was not good. I plan to get better at getting better angles and lighting.

You know there are more than a couple people make videos showing how that mainboard will not burn up if there is a complete shutdown. My heater has done it a few times and has no issues. Not sure who started that but its really not true. Try it. Youll see your heater will run fine. Its just like the "you have to put it outside" nonsense. While I insist people properly route their exhaust I also know what a "salamander" heater is and that they operate almost identically to these heaters and they have no exaust to vent. Plenty of people use them inside. But don't worry about the mainboard burning up in the off chance you totally lose power. Mines running right now if you want me to prove it just say the word. Ill be more than happy to make a quick video.

I had one burn up, well it didn't burn up exactly. It is the one that was in the bus. I blew a fuse, and before I could replace it the solder on the board had melted in a few places. I had it running on about 6.5 hz at the time. I re soldered the connections and it still works but the bearings squeal now and I no longer use the heater because of it. Makes an awful noise lol. It's probably because I run mine hotter than they are intended. Maybe if it was running the stock configuration, it would have been ok.

@@lukeFugate yep its because of how high you run yours. Their bearings are super cheap and they use little to no lubrication on them. Get some spray silicone lubricant and squirt it the best you can near those bearings and it will shut right up. I highly suggest replacing them altogether with better bearings. I like the ceramic bearings personally. The bearing size is 5x16x5mm.

@@TheWatchmanNews Thanks. I'll try to change them out. I have another heater I was going to switch it out with. I'll probably go ahead and do that, then fix the bearings in that one for a spare.
