Here are over 25+ differences in the official SMM games and SMM:WE, its PC & Android fangame version
Some changes are positive, some aren't and some are more interesting than others since both were made in a different programming language and engine

How was SMM World engine even made? Like it’s way too perfect of a recreation, it’s unbelievable. And it’s 150mb? I don’t get how they replicated it so well.

It's not perfect, but they got it down pretty well. I own the actual SMM2 so I can tell. I actually felt like I was playing the real game. I love it.

although SMM and SMM2 have some advantages and SMM:WE has some features missing. I think SMM:WE has more advantages than disadvantages in this video.
