You can easily change the flints in a Bic lighter too. Takes less than 10 seconds. Did you know when a regular store bought Bic runs out of fluid, you still have 2/3 of the flint left in them? I only use pre-1993 Bic adjustable flame lighters converted to be refillable and it takes 1-2 months of lots of usage before a used Bic flint is finally used up. Little Bic lighter trivia for yous guys.

There’s many versions of clippers in different countries. If you get one with a red plastic tab to refill, don’t worry, push 2 seconds then release then repeat until full. Newer ones don’t have the red tab anymore. I have a bunch of every kind and size and stamped with each European country it was made in usually Spain. Min clippers are the best. Replace the hex wheel with a mini bic wheel and flint but put flint upside down. The flame will be much higher..

For me it’s the standard clipper and the clipper jet due to its adjustable flame. The flint also works as a packing tool too

Also if you tip the clipper side ways the flame get's bigger too so you can light a pipe

You should get an imco lighter/triplex/esbit lighter they were made in austria no longer in production. I got one on eBay and I enjoy it much more than the zippos as it holds fluid for a much longer time since the top seals the wick off.

The second pack of clippers he opened aren't refillable ,the first pack are ,and u can switch the wheel with a round one if u don't like the ones come with ,the Flint u can change too

Nice review. Especially appreciate reviews that aren't sponsored in some manner. Agree with you about BIC. Long term favorite. Other brands, IMO, have a higher fail rate. Frustrating when a disposable stops working & is still half full of fluid. BTW, someone recently gave me the lighter with knife & corkscrew. Politely thanked the person, but really wish they hadn't spend their money on it. It's OK, I guess, but I'm not likely to use it. Even the empty BICs can still keep on giving! Thanks for sharing. Did you know you can refill the Clipper lighter and you can replace the Flint and the Clipper lighter is also water resistant

BX7 lighters are my favorite. Made in France and look like a bic but are slimmer

You could use a decent pocket knife. Good variety of lighters. The round Clippers are the best.

I get the zippo adjustable type free when I buy cigarettes. Large BIC are best in my opinion. Old style Zippos are best outside in cold and wind if you don't mind the smell of the gas, and need for frequent refilling with lighter fluid. Wrap some duct tape around those large BiCs!

great video just a side note but the Clipper Crystals are refillable with the Ronson Multi-Fill Butane Fuel and the flint also is replaceable and for bug out if you pull out the striker by grabbing the striker and pulling strait up in the direction the flames travel out of the lighter, you can flick it with out the lighter and it throws major sparks its my edc lighter and i gave my dad and wife some of them for there bags

I'm embarrassed to say this I did not know how to use this lighter I'm not a smoker...im used to the mini bics that doesn't have the black plastic button or molding !! video 5:45 when all you did was push down the black button and it's a flame!🤣😂 I thought the black tip was something you should remove because it's child resistant so look I had to subscribe to your channel! Exotac Titanlight. Zippo lighter fluid or white gas refil. Zippo flint. #35 flourocarbon o ring , wick is 8 inches so Zippo wick won't work as far as length goes. Waterproof , durable as all hell, and if people would simply follow directions they won't get migrated fuel all over creation. Turn the TitanLight upside down, screw off bottom cap, screw off lid, pour excess back in, screw on bottom cap, wipe hands and lighter and there you go. Second choice, Maratac Peanut XL. No windscreen like Exotac but they're damn near indestructible, Zippo flint, wick, and fuel

The Clippers are refillable!!!!! And that is the reason it's my pick of BIC or any other disposable non-refillable lighter.....! These disposable lighters are very cheap, so how do the companies profit? By making sure you can't refill it and has to throw it away when it runs out of fluid, so you keep buying another lighter over and over.. Don't you think that's an anti-consumer practice? Idk about you but I'm not very prone to let companies get away with that... Millions of these plastic disposable lighters are manufactured every year, along with countless other similarly disposable products, and guess where all of that garbage is dumped? In the ocean! The ocean has so much garbage floating on it that it together is comparable to the size of the UK island Many turtles, sea lions, octopuses and multiple other animals die all the time from this garbage in the sea, and one may think that it is not our problem and doesn't affect us, but it does! Nature is a balanced system that needs all its parts working well together, and the effects affect everything
