As always great info. I appreciate the honesty and openness that few have. ESPECIALLY when they receive products to test and demonstrate. There are a couple I trust. you are certainly a go to channel for me.

That's what I love about digital scopes the fact you can put your pellet weight and speed in there with the wind and temperature then range it and when you aim at your target it will show you exactly where to aim at it for a direct hit and that's amazing cause you'll never miss if all your calculations are correct. I was gonna buy that PARD SCOPE that does all that but instead I just bought a DEDAL JAVELIN 4/30/56 FFP FROM EDGUNWEST and Brian told me it's a dynamite high quality scope so that's what I went with because I been doing more long range shooting lately from 100 plus yards so I can see the targets stickers real clear at that distance because the scope I been using the magnification wasn't high enough.

Good TO know and yep not sure the Pard has enough for long distance shooting as for as MOA adjustments past 100 yards.

I'm really excited about this concurrent path thing it looks like you're headed into fusing the review of the Aspen with this OneLeaf. Both being products I am intrigued by and have on my wishlist. I have a feeling with your attention to detail and frankness , that I'll get enough of my questions answered to make some purchasing decisions with a lot more confidence. Keep going with this concept. Two birds with one stone really works for me. Thanks Again!

Nice information indeed. Well, digital scopes are fine for certain applications, not a "do it all". They are digital, and they can fail in certain circunstances. Until now, the military don´t use it and they have their reasons for it. I found the best solution for me. A good day scope with a decente glass + a night vision rear Clip-On from Pard with a LRF. Get your ballistic data for your ammunition, and stick turret tags on your scope turret for estimated distances and fast aquisition of targets. With this set, you can have a night vision for hunting and a reliable day scope for any task you want without spend $$$$ of money. Just my 2 cents.

Awesome I'm glad you are back it's been a while I really enjoy your videos thanks for sharing be safe buddy I bought a scopemate night vision clip on man does it suck it has a small tiny screen you look at I have to use ready glasses just use to it lol I'm trying to get rid of it and I should of just spent the extra 100 buck for a one leaf clip on or a pard

Yes some of those clip on videos / camera supports can suck / be really challenging lol. I try to give you a nice insight into how this stacks up. Thanks again for watching and welcome back !

This is my take in a nutshell after being very disappointed by digital. If you are going to be doing a lot of night shooting/hunting by all means go digital with an ir light. They look pretty darn good at night and are very affordable. If you are buying digital to primarily use during the day take that money and invest in really good glass. It will look 1000000x better than digital. Most of these decked out digital scopes are 6-700 bucks. You can get damn good glass in a regular scope for that. It will blow digital out of the water in clarity. If you mainly just shoot targets especially paper avoid digital at all costs. As you zoom them in to get precision groups the clarity gets shittier and shittier. For daytime use they just don’t hold a candle even to moderately priced glass.

Agree totally. I mean its a thing where if you do a majority of shooting at night or want to record you shots for later without hassle of strapping something into an optical scope. But Fine good glass is so hard to beat during the day. Thanks for sharing that.

It's interesting but just getting more commercial. My time outdoors is mainly to get away from technology, outdoors utilising knowledge I've acquired by experience and time. This old dog isnt buying any more technology, I value my freedom 😊
@ShootingTargets727 Жыл бұрын
lol ahh yea I get it man.. Yep kind of like hunting with a long bow vs a compound bow with all the latest tech. You kind of want it to be as simple as possible.
@garymurray5361 Жыл бұрын
@@ShootingTargets727 not that simple, I like my descent scopes and PCP air rifles. It's taken me years to learn them, no more technology for me outdoors. I'll leave that to the Tec heads. It's more important that you have success with what you understand not the latest must have.
