Though I am an electronic enthusiast and this explanation was Greek to me, I watched it with a special interest. I bought Su-Kam indian inverter 12V - 500 W back in 2002. Still the inverter works perfectly, but its battery charging side is defective now. A computer repairing workshop tried to repair it, but it could not complete it. I wonder whether I can ask for professional assistance from you to get this problem sorted out which will be greatly appreciated.

I was interested in Electronics since my childhood. But the life made me a health care professional. But again I've been awakened and nowadays, I am having fun making simple LED appliances. My questions are, 1) pls explain your journey in electronics. How did you learn? 2) I am 33 now. Do I have the time to be as talented as you? 3) How can I learn from you if possible? Thank you!

Well.. You're in luck to be living in this period, where you dont need anyone's help to learn what ever you want. Of course you cannot replace a propper college degree and all the insight that comes with it.. But you're learning to gather knowledge not to change carriers.. So go for it and learn as much as you can. More you learn more curious you get. Its a wonderful journey. Good luck

@@dilshan1971yeah I will stick to it. Thank you for your kind advice😊 But for everyone like me, I am requesting you to start a series of lessons including ***How to design and practically build electronic circuits to fulfill our needs? For instant, I need to build a simple circuit to automatically light on when in current failure, but not to light on the day time. Plenty of KZbin videos are out there explaining how to build them by soldering parts together, but no one explains how to design one starting from the beginning according to our needs. If I need a 10W powered light how to select parts? For 100W how to select parts? How to assemble parts together? Different methods of assembling parts? How sub circuits are connected together? At the university, I learned how logic gates work and replace them with electronic parts. But I never had the opportunity to practically learn those things. Please cover those).

Thanks very much, I was very looking forward to your next video and this is an added bonus that it's an inverter video.I would like to know on the input side (12V) of the inverter what is the relationship beween the number chopper transformers and output wattage?I have seen a basic 500W inverter having one transformer & 2 MOSFETS and then also another 1500W one having 4 transformers with each having 2 MOSFETs with total of 8, I like to know the theory behind this.Thanks.
@dilshan19712 жыл бұрын
The wattage of the inverter depends on the core size of the transformer or the combined core size of several transformers. For a given wattage; higher the number of transformers smaller the size of each transformer can be.
@christopherschokman16042 жыл бұрын
@@dilshan1971 OK, so they all work in a parallel configuration? Splitting the wattage among them.e.g 1500W has 4 transformers will 2000W has 6 transformers.
@dilshan19712 жыл бұрын
@@christopherschokman1604 yes you can have any number of transformers splitting the required wattage limited only by the space constraints inside the unit

Also, if u have a diagram sheet for this inverter i would be so thankful to have a copy. I have a problem with one of them, the fans make the test check at starting up, but later they never work. 12v is present at the socket, but the 4v at the 4th pin, the speed control is absent. I dont know the diagram that controls the fans how it goes. Plz help me, and thank u in advance.

I also dont have the schematic, trying to reverse engineer as much as possible. Did you trying heating up the temperature sensors with a hot air gun to see if that kicks the fans into action?
dear sir . I have 2 inverters of 5.5kw. so both of these I have removed. one of those have a one output transformer . other one has a two transformers. so can u explain me what is the more powerful one. in this condition. thank you.
@dilshan19712 жыл бұрын
The power of the inverter depends on the transformer core cross section area. If the combined cross section area of the two transformer inverter is larger than the single transformer model; then two transformer model is more powerful. And vice versa.

After watching full video what is the reason for the catastrophic failure?
@dilshan19712 жыл бұрын
A single component failure can take out several components it its path like a dam bursting, but you can never be certain.. Failure to synchronize with a parallel inverter could also be catastrophic.
