Dimash wanted a prayer for the world, so he called up Igor Krutoy and this is the magic they made. A Christian hymn, composed by a Jewish man, and sung by a Muslim man. Truly, a prayer for the world “Ave Maria” is a variation adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore only the three opening notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note. At the end, the advanced vocal technique: “Messa Di Voce “ (from Italian Bel Canto technique) at the last note sustained 15 seconds on the note C6 . Swell, increase and decrease the volume but don’t change the pitch, it is extremely difficult and only pro vocalists with years of training can do it. Singing on whistle and super head voice with SOFT SOUND IS SO HARD TO DO, harder than loud whistle note!

And I love it when the drums come in. It's so unique. Igor Krutoy (the gentleman at the piano) composed this version of the Ave Maria at Dimash's request. Usually, Ave Maria is a prayer to the Holy Virgin Mary. In this case, however, it is a prayer for all people, no matter what religion they belong to. Besides that Dimash is a Muslim and Igor Kurtoy, who often accompanies him on the piano, is Jewish. That is why this Ave Maria has no lyrics, since it is not only sung for Christians. He sang this song on the New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2021. This is an international contest for young performers founded by Igor Krutoy in 2002. Dimash sang here as a guest and was also a member of the jury. Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian-Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. He came out of retirement specifically to work with Dimash when he first heard him. True masterpieces were created. It’s ok to expect great singing from Dimash because you will always get it. Try Ikenaide from the Tokyo jazz festival, very intimate, in a studio setting or Olympico in a big arena with thousands of people. He commands attention. No one like him.

There are dozens of different songs called, "Ave Maria," and hundreds of different versions of some of them. This one was written especially for Dimash by composer and pianist, Igor Krutoy. It's an Ave Maria to unite those of every religion, and those of no religion. Dimash is all about uniting the world through his music.

Even though we come to expect his vocal brilliance, he still manages to stun and surprise. Though you’ve reacted to his most popular neoclassical performances, he is far from a one trick pony. He performs in many other genres and styles, and doesn’t always use vocal acrobatics to achieve his goals. He has a lot of pop and folk performances where he doesn’t showcase his range, as he only uses those dynamics when the song calls for it. You will come to see that he has many sides to his artistry. Some of those performances include “Omir” (his latest release) which is a love song to his Dears, “Be With Me” ( watch the official music video) where he raps, fights and gets the girl, “Fly Away”, “Okey”, “Together”, “Zahlyn” and “Golden” are all pop songs. Alison you do a great job of appreciating Dimash. I found him on KZbin 6 years ago and have enjoyed him everyday since then. I can listen to him over and over. His time on the Singer 2017 seemed to bring his talent into the light. He sang 7-8 songs on the Singer that are still some of my favorites but he has grown and matured so much since then. Если честно, все это я старался забыть. Даже в больнице побывал (где врачи пытались вывести меня из состояния глубокой депрессии). Но тут пришел Димаш, словно острым ножом самым бесцеремонным образом вскрыл мою память и выпустил все эти воспоминая обратно... И я злюсь!!! The emotion Dimash endows his out-of-this-world performances with escalates the impact he creates even beyond the matchless brilliance of his singing. Just stumbled across your channel in my recommendations per reactors to Dimash. Really enjoyed your enjoyment of this magical performance. As I've said before: now we know what angels will sound like whenever we get there. For a completely different Dimash experience, I'd suggest you take a listen to Opera2 if you haven't done so yet. This is an original composition by Igor Krutoy (at the piano). The beginning of the piece seems to be an imitation of the sounds from Outer Space that were recorded by NASA, establishing an otherworldly atmosphere. Dimash intentionally uses only vocalization to make this a prayer/meditation for all people, regardless of their spiritual orientation. Words often divide us, but music has the power to unite. The purity of Dimash's voice, the genius of Igor Krutoy's composition, the choir, instrumentation, and staging all combine to transport the listener beyond this earthly existence into the heavenly worlds. When I first heard this version from Dimash and Igor, I vowed right then and there to listen to it at least once a day, as it literally PULLS us up out of our 3rd dimension and into the 4th, where our dreams and meditations lie. All I have to do is lean back in my chair, close my eyes, and let it wash over me. It was Dimash who went to Igor and asked him to compose a new version of "Ave Maria" in vocalize style, where no words are sung--an absolutely brilliant choice as it transcends any possible language misinterpretations, thus being able to reach all religions as a prayer to God/Creator. [*Originally created as a Christian petition, now being re-envisioned by a Jew (Igor) and performed by a Muslim (Dimash), proving music CAN BE, like you said, transcendental.]❤🙏✨✨✨🙏❤
