He has practiced at least 3 hours a day since he was 5. His parents are well known Opera singers in his country of Kazakhstan 🇰🇿! He was born with a talent that he works extremely hard to perfect. He is a wonderful and humble humanitarian. Sinful Passion is the performance that blew off the top of my head. Some of your info is not quite correct. His parents sing contemporary music, not opera. Dimash started piano at 5 and sang in the choir as a youngster. He only started serious formal vocal training with Marat Aitimov at age 15.

Jaws on the floor. Get used to it, because Dimash will do that to you every time. You just bought a one-way ticket for the biggest vocal roller coaster ride in your life. He is like a drug. As more you listen to him, as more you want. You even can't imagine what is capable to do Dimash with his voice. He is simply the greatest. The one and only on the planet. He makes some pretty 'extreme' music and breaking music impossibility and all rules with his unbelievable vocal techniques. He sings whatever he wants in the way he wants to. And he always slays. His absolutely perfect body comes equipped with auto tuning device, extra lungs, beautiful face, incredible charisma and more than 6 octaves angelic voice. Dimash is GODdamn perfect. There are emotional performances, technically perfect performances and entertaining performances. Dimash combine all three of them and it makes him as powerful as a nuclear bomb. When you think you've heard everything from him, he appears and blows up the next bomb right in your face. We are all trapped in his incredible voice and charisma. The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to write the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add to the universal declaration of human rights another article (they would become 31) whose wording would be as follows " All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing ". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, whom I could talk to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, 1 year ago, I met this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), last March 7, 2020. At the end of the concert on March 7, 2020 in Riga, Latvia, I asked the security guards to bring a Portuguese flag to Dimash for him to sign. The security guards were very friendly and took the flag. A few minutes later, a member of Dimash's staff appeared and told me that he could not sign the flag because he was going to the airport. He gave me a postcard signed by him. He was all happy. And I also went to the airport because I had a plane at 6:00 am to go back to Portugal. I arrived at the airport around 10:30 pm. I knew Dimash had to go to the airport but I assumed he would enter through a VIP gate. As I had many hours of waiting, I decided to lie down on the benches at the airport. Around 00:00 I woke up to applause. I thought, is it Dimash? I looked at the registration area and saw a large crowd. I started walking towards the registration area. About 50 meters away, Dimash looked at me and I spread my arms as if to say "you'll have to talk to me." When I got to Dimash (wearing a mask) I told him that I had traveled 8000 km to see him and hear him sing and I asked him if he could take a picture with me. Dimash didn't even hesitate for a second and said "Sure (of course)". He left the check-in (he walked about 100 meters because he had to leave the opposite side to the one I found). When he caught up with me, he took off his mask and smiled. We take the photo. I asked him for a few minutes to say a few words (those were the ones I wrote in the previous comment). As he spoke, Dimash was always silent and smiling, showing great respect for me. I said goodbye to him and ran to my wife who had not realized that I had separated from her. When I arrived with my wife, she did not want to believe that she had taken a photo of me with Dimash. She immediately ran to check in with a friend who had accompanied us (3 of us went from Portugal to Riga for the Dimash concert). When they got to check-in, they started talking to Dimash. Once again he was very generous and polite to them. I didn't intrude on the conversation. I'd already had my moment with Dimash and now it was his turn. What I did was go to the bathroom to wash my face because I was still under the influence of having suddenly woken up and had some kind of miraculous experience. When I came back from the bathroom, Dimash's entourage was exiting the register. Dimash's father was leading. Out of respect for Dimash's father, I stopped and bowed my head. Dimash, seeing this, left the group and approached me (he walked about 10 meters). He took my right hand with both hands and said "Bye sir". It was a mystical experience that I will never forget. for your question on description.. my answer YES.. the best in the world male or female. my first time listen to him is from SOS performance from the singer 2017 (a tv show for establish singers who won multiple award and sold out album in China, he is just wild card from Kazakhstan.. no one know him until he perform SOS on the first round, he become an overnight sensation) when i listen to him the first time 6 month ago, i was completely lost and can't remember what happen.. then i search every performance of him. Not just talent. At this point in his life at 23 years old, Dimash already had close to 20 years of vocal training behind him. Yes, really. The song is from the Québec-France 1978 rock-opera production called "Starmania". What you have just heard is just a small sample of what this man can do with his voice. Every song, every performance blows our minds even when we think we have him figured out, he does something to make your jaw drop again.

"Starmania"..it is a young man contemplating suicide...Dimash has been professionally academy trained since the age of 5...He now has 2 University degrees one in classical music and one in contemporary music, This last year He Aced his Master's Degree in composition...and yes when you see some of his more recent performances, you will see more maturity in his voice. .Every one has pointed you to "Sinful Passion" It is a great choice....For more performances go to Dimash's YT channel, He even posts his concerts.. I didn't just get chills. An obsession was born instantly. Five days after I listened to SOS for the first time I discovered that he was holding a concert in New York in 25 days. I wailed for 5 more days that I wasn't going to be able to be there... then I bought a $400 concert ticket for the best seat I could get, plus short notice full price plane tickets halfway across the country. I didn't have that money to spend. I REGRET NOTHING. I have now done the same thing for his March concert in Prague that probably won't even happen. People below will tell you all the other amazing performances to watch. He is still working in several directions and I don't think he has quite figured out his place. He can sing literally anything; any style, any genre, any technique, and give you chills while doing it. Can't wait to find out where he settles.

Welcome to the world of Dimash! Dimash has studied music since age 5, and continues to study. He sings any genre, and fans are from all age groups. He calls his fans "Dears" he says because he loves us like family. IN addition to his musical talents he is very humble, respectfull of elders and family generous...just a great human being. He has a 6 octave range but when asked about it he says the number is not important, it is just a tool to make his listeners go to a different place in their minds. Believe it or not, you seen nothing yet by Dimash, when you think that he did his best , the next song will blown you mind song after song, and his notes .. he can go a lot lower and a lot Higher , his higher note is D8 ( highest than the highest note in a professional Piano keyboard. And his lowest note is like a Demon singning lol 😂 in S.O.S you seen maximum 5-10% of what he can do with his voice and range and pure talent , and 5-10% of his talent is good to shock you 😛, well be ready because you will be shocked after each performance... like i said, you think that nothing can be better but after listening next song, you are amazed more that the previous reaction lol .. react to Dimash - Know ( vocalise ) this is probably one of the greathest performance i’ve seen in music history.. Dudes can't sing like that. Only Dimash can. There are many more fabulous things he does in different genres. I'm 61 years old and I've heard a lot of music too. There is no one as good as Dimash. You should check out Sinful Passion next. You should also look up his bio on Google. The first time I heard him was when I was scrolling through KZbin. I don't know why I chose the video of this song but I'm damn glad I did. When I heard I was mesmerized and decided that the only explanation was that he's an angel.

A friend convinced me to give him a listen mid 2019. I was immediately transported by his beautiful voice. Fast forward to December 2019 and I traveled across the country to see his concert in NYC. I have watched this 100 times and still get chills every time. Dimash has an unheard of range and has been training since the age of 5. He is known for skill level and performance levels as well. There is good, there is great and then there is Dimash in a league of his own. The Michael Jordan of vocalists. He also sings in 12 languages, plays 6 instruments and has perfect pitch. Speaks fluently in Kazakh, Russian and has been learning English. He became famous overnight in China after performing this song on the Chinese Singer 2017 and was 22 or 23 at the time. He is 26 now and improving his craft each time. Also, he is 6 foot 3 which is sometimes hard to tell due to the large scale of the venues he performs on. This song was the first song I experienced from Dimash. I was watching a reactor that I liked and he was making his top 10 list of 2019 and Dimash was on the list. Well, I like all kinds of music and had never heard of him before and the reactor spoke so highly of him and showed a clip and I was hooked. That was just last April and I feel like I've come very late to the party. He's so wonderful and I have to be get my Dimash fix every day. Great reaction thanks. Sos d'un terrien en détresse is a cover of a French song from a rock opera called Starmania back in the late 1970's. It is a very well known song in France and has been covered by many but Dimash's version is by far the best. I don't know who did the translation but the lyrics are not very well translated so it's not easy for non French speakers to know what it is about without knowing the context and the story. He doesn't actually feel ill with himself, it's a bad translation; he actually said he was feeling uncomfortable, ill at ease! And there are other mistakes but never mind. The most important thing is that Dimash sings it perfectly and his interpretation is just magical.

Thank you very much for this great reaction video. I stumbled across Dimash in a roundabout way, because actually I mainly listen to rock and metal. Two years ago, I clicked by chance on a duet 'Swan Goose' with Tengri and Dimash. At first I thought: "Okay, another K-pop kid who had his face tinkered with to look like ... (PS: Dear Mr Dimash, if you should ever read this, my appologies 🙏🏻! I confess I was confused 😅, at that faitful moment - you look absolutely great 🤩😍😎🥺🤗😘, really!) ... oh ... ... wait... ... wow, what a voice!" Next I watched 'Screaming', then Opera#2 and only in fourth place S.O.S. I spent what felt like the rest of that night on KZbin. I laughed, I cried, I had goosebumps and tactile sensations that I couldn't even place. It was a ride on a eargasmic roller coaster. And that, even though I didn't understand the lyrics to many of the songs. For two years now I have been hopelessly devoted to Dimash. I need his music every day. His voice is like a missing part of myself, given back to me over and over again. I would love it if you would continue to make reaction videos to Dimash and let us accompany you on your journey. Dimash crosses genres which is probably why you got recommendations from folks across the board. You don't hear his tenor/bass voice here-I love it as much or more than his higher ranges. People usually recommend Sinful Passion next because of his virtuosity in that place. I also like Love is like a Dream to hear most of his vocal capabilities (not all). But in addition to THAT VOICE, his stage presence, his ability to express emotion in his singing, his thoughtfulness toward his fans and the musicians he performs with, his humility, the hard work he puts into his performances (he's working on a doctorate, too) and yes, he's cute :)-he's known for his range, but wow! There is so much more to him, and (This is a cliche and everyone says it; but in his case, it is absolutely true) you ain't heard nothing yet.

Dimash (DeeMahsh) has been studying music since he was 5 and through puberty, so he was able to keep the higher range. But some others also cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they said Ooh… is Dimash human..? Alien..? Etc, I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and be surprise by it or cannot even believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation. I believed that Dimash 21 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is gifted by God with grace for music but his years of hard work of practice and experiences proved it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible. My other concern whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..? Although Dimash music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it. With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me. I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death) SONG FACTS: The song is from French Rock Opera called Starmania. Originally it was sung by Daniel Balavoine who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986, who is known of his beautiful voice. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23. Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. The song has sad lyrics: “a soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress” because it is a human being who is in anguish searching for the absolute. MY THOUGHTS AND OPINION OF THIS SONG (REF CCC): Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith. For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discerned well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that, it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with humility, discernment and faith in God. Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any kind of pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow over time in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God. Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth”. Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. But through the original sin that enters human lives, our nature has been wounded, and is now subject to suffering and death. This was not part of God’s original plan, but now is already part of our human lives reality. Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives, and we will face God’s judgment. Death creates in us a feelings and emotion of fear, separation, sadness and pain. Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and even argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end, we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension. The truth is… in front of death we are all poor and powerless. If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. Death is such a peaceful, joyful event in our life, if we die reconciled with God and at peace with others as well. Death is unknown to all of us, therefore, it is best that we should prepare at all times. Song was in french. Concert is in Russia and conversation is generally Russian. He is fluent in Kazakh and Russian,and is working on English and Chinese. His abilities are due to great and unusual vocal chords, perfect absolute pitch, amazing singer parents and 17 years of hard work. This was the first song I heard also, but the version in 2017 at his international debut in the Chinese "Singer" pro competition. I realized he was singing high tenor, then low tenor, then contralto, then mezzo soprano, then top lead soprano (lyric or coloratura?). And he never strained or pushed. And every note was perfectly on pitch, which is really hard on those staccato head notes. And he was tone painting with lots of different voice styles. And his vibrato was so clean and controlled - never sloppy. He ran the vibrato; it did not run him. Always in complete control. I had never heard anyone with such complete mastery of voice. I haven't heard recording artists with this much control and Dimash is doing 90% of this stuff live! Since then He has extended his low range and maintained his upper range. You haven't heard his top octave yet. He has also improved and grown in his interpretation and musical choices. Try Sinful Passion at Sochi and then Love Is Like A Dream with Igor Krutoy (composer) at the piano at the New York or New Wave concerts. Just gorgeous. Then pick a style. He does many types of music. He hasn't really done metal yet, but it would be so amazing. Just for a hint, watch Across Endless Dimensions. We are so lucky just to be around while this is happening. Enjoy.

For the first MONTHS listening to Dimash, i nearly always cried. Since... it's been over a year now, but still need my every day "dose" of him. I told myself many times to stop behaving like a teenage fangirl, but still, no day without listening to Dimash till now. I like music, but never experienced such kind of admiration, but only to his voice & performance, but to him as a person.
