You are right, this song is originally from Russian singer Vitas. In general, the whistle register is considered to begin at what we call the High C (C6). In this song, Dimash sings in 4 different keys beginning at C6, going up to C#6, D6 and end on Eb6 (Eflat6). This is 3 modulations over what Vitas was singing in on the original. Well believe it, he is even better. Check out Sinful Passion and The Love of Tired Swans. Incredible. Oh and by the way.... he can sing the alien song from the Fifth Element. Check out Dimash, Diva Dance, Bastau concert. Everyone is pretty sure he is an alien. No, not exactly a whistle on the last note... but... if you want to see him do one, pull up Unforgettable Day at his Gakku concert and when you do, please know he wrote the song when he was 19 years of age. Dimash is part song bird, part angel and part alien.....beyond amazing. He is also humble, gracious and thankful. Both his parents are singers. He sings in somewhere up to 14 languages and plays many instruments. We all look forward to the out of this world stuff that will be coming from this young man. I for one CAN NOT WAIT.

The original singer, Vitas, modulated up once in his performance of Opera 2. Dimash modulates up 3 times with ease. Dimash is even better in 2018. A few must see performances are Hello from the Singer. Then his Russian performances of Sinful Passion and The Love of Tired Swans. All 3 of these incredible. Dimash is becoming a legend at 24yrs. old. He has the attention of the best musical composers around the world.

Yes he was teasing, they asked if he could go any higher, he winked and did it higher with the controlled ho ho in the centre then one more round higher still. This is one song which sadly, he will never sing again. Vitas had never objected to anyone singing Opera 2 before until this performance. But one song short does not really matters, he now have Vita's countrymen and women rushing to fill the stage with flowers for him during recent invited performances in Russia for two Russian songs Sinful Passion and Love of the Tired Swans which is totally another level. Yes I just hit the subscribed button. As for the countries, if all Dimash Dears are in, you will be seeing above 100 countries. Waiting for your reaction of Adagio , he sang both male and female😆😆😆😉

Hi there. Great to see you reacting to more of Dimash's art. You've definitely been an instant Dear from the first reaction. You mentioned all the things that make Dimash so compelling to watch but once you watch some of the 'behind the scenes' footage or just his interaction with his fans e.g. Rae Ward (there's a video on KZbin), you'll see what an amazing human being he is. He is so atypical of the millenials, it's unreal. To have a 24-year old quote poetry when he speaks, to hear him say that the elderly should always be treated with respect and that children should be allowed to be children..... You don't expect such deep thinking from one so young. And it's not just words. It's truly words he lives by. Like you, I'm delighted to be alive to hear this marvel and I can't wait to see where his journey takes him. You might also consider using videos from Gloria Wu's channel for English subtitles and backstories to the songs he sings. She's such an absolute darling and worked so hard to get us language-impaired people to understand. Even though one doesn't need to understand the lyrics, it DOES add another dimension, understanding, and emotional response when you understand. I love your reactions because that's how I react. You are right language is doesn't matter just hear the sound of it, very clear, the tune is there even if he go higher and higher and very clear. I feel that Sinful Passion is the best 3rd Dimash song to experience. It's sort of the best of the first 2 with even more amazing, new and unexpected parts. Personally, it's my favorite Dimash song of all.

JK, I enjoy your comments, truly do. Your appreciation of the greatest singer is so much in place. Dimash is able to sing not only the low notes but his high notes are beyond human comprehension. There are songs where Dimash goes beyond the piano keyboard. My music teacher once told me that the four keys at the right-hand end of the keyboard are useless and futile because no human being can reach them. Yes, but Dimash can, and can and does go beyond.

Dimash's highest Whistle note so far is D8. Opera 2 is originally by Vitas and either he or his production company will not Dimash to sing the song again. I figure it is their loss. When I first heard his Whistle Note, I thought something was wrong with the mike. His D8 was done either at his first or second concert. This will not be cheating because I am going to show a much younger Dimash singing the whistle note. Please stick to your guns and watch Singer first. Thanks for another awesome reaction!!! Dimash started this song in the same key as Vitas, but there are two distinct differences. First, Dimash added vabrato throughout the song, especially the high notes. Second, Vitas did one key change... Dimash did THREE!!! This performance was simply to dazzle the crowd with his high register. Please continue with the songs in order. It's never dull, and to watch as he progresses over time is nothing short of amazing!!!
