Basically the ancient ones took over Inas body. This is basically a timeloop but in one shot you can see Irys butterfly in the clouds showing there is hope and indicating we are the one timeline it didn't come to this shown by the fact we are past the date the world was "destroyed".

so far I've seen Kiara, Ame and Calli already watched this. Not sure about Gura and Ina. But if the Myth girls voiced this, and seeing how their voice acting are in the recent HoloweEN shorts, it will be good with the right direction. as for the Council symbol in the theater, I can assume that the theater where Ames ended up in are located in a dimension where Council resides. With Kronii symbol in the middle here, I guess that this theater specifically belongs to Kronii, where she sees various timeline, or simply observe what's happening etc. Sana's logo glitching can mean several things. One being that of course, she graduated. But another one being that she is also related to the Ancient Ones (the one that possessed and controlled Ina). in lore, Sana is the Apostle of Ancient Ones, and Ina is the priestess of the Ancient Ones. Sana could also be fighting Ancient Ones in another dimension, who knows... IRyS symbol can be seen glowing/shining when the camera zoomed out during the rewinding scene after Ame pulled out the film from the projector. HoloEN lore is very interesting to write story with because of their ties with each other (Myth to Hope to Council). Heck, if Cover wants to, they can make a whole cinematic universe just with Holo EN alone (I myself, did a rough draft of HoloEN cinematic universe :p ) sorry for the long comment :)

When you said the theater probably belonged to Kronii I realized something. Why was the video focused on the location of the battle of all places? Does that mean someone (most likely Kronii) had been observing the battle up until right before Ame arrived?

Pretty rare to see a vtuber reactor who has not seen any of the work in progress stuff, great blind reaction my dude! Just gonna mention: Good ending is our timeline since the world survived past the date. Soundtrack has orchestral arrangements for a song related to everyone: calli's excuseme but could you rip, kiara's hinotori, gura's reflect, ina's violet just before she died hurt me, and ame's old stream bgm.

Nope, our destruction was just delayed. What do you think Ina's break is about? Clearly, the entity is the one stopping her from streaming in order to weaken her resolve against the entity so that it can control her mind, and cause her to begin the conquest of the world. Hopefully, Ame won't reset again so we can welcome the reign of our new Cthulhu overlady!

Ina vs Myth just proves it's always the quiet ones you have to watch out for, lol. Also this is probably one of the best Hololive fan animation I have seen along with "Detective Diaries" which is another one. Hololive needs these talents if they would be interested to do official works.

It's wild how we got all this out of HoloPro giving the girls backstories and the girls having playful back and forths about it with the fans. Who could have ever imagined. Like, Hololive Fantasy (3rd gen) got super emotional sequential fanart about the passage of time since Danchou and Senchou are humans, but Pekora and Flare are longer lived while Rushia is immortal as a necromancer. But a 12 minute short film is something else.

I prefer to think that the Theater is the HoloCouncil Chamber, since their symbols are above the projector and they each govern an aspect of the Universe as a whole.

Hey, nice reaction! A detail I don't see a lot of people to catch on in the animation that makes it even better is the Ina's struggle scene. After the black goo fly off her, look at her ears. They are round, no longer pointy. It shows she's no longer the Ancient One's priestess, she's just Ina, a normal human girl. She litteraly lost everything at that moment and didn't even have time to say she's sorry, she was killed before she ended the sentence. That makes that scene so much more gut wrenching.

The Ancient One is a really terrifying being, basically Hololive's Thanos in a way that there is only 1 timeline where we win and we're lucky to be in it

The Ancient One's* They are basically 4th dimensional beings that exist outside of time and space, purely unknowable and unfathomable in power. Thanos has nothing on them, they are more comparable to the Living Tribunal or Eternity. Cthulhu and his ilk, though i think the big C-man is a Great Old One not an Ancient One, i dunno, i'm a bit iffy on the Lovecraftian Mythos. Though i think that you're right in that this is the only way they could have defeated an Ancient One. Actually i don't think that there is anyone in all of Hololive that could actually beat an Ancient One (with the exception of The One Above All (Yagoo))

Something I wanted to mention real quick because no one else did (I usually have a copypasta that covers most of the questions people have, but others have accurately answered them already): The reason why Gura is able to fight The Ancient One (AO-chan) the way she does is because she bears the trident of Poseidon, the last key of power belonging to the ancient gods still dwelling in the world. In H. P. Lovecraft's works (or, perhaps more accurately, those who worked with him to expand the mythos), Atlantis is connected to the eldritch horror that is The Ancient One, and only the powers of the gods are able to contest such a being. Even so, Gura is not a sage in the mystic arts (and why would she be, since she's the sole survivor of Atlantis), so her use of the trident is limited to the few water-based magics that she knows, and the ability to absorb the power of Poseidon to bring out her inner demon "Gawr". Due to this limitation, she is also only capable of this transformation for a short time, hence why AO-chan only got the upper hand once Gura released the transformation.

We see all of Myth and we see symbols of Counsel, but Irys isn't anywhere (other than as the vague light not on Earth as the world ends) at all "hope" is what makes the new timeline the Good Ending

I don't know if you'll see this comment, I just came to say that one of the girls "commented" on a stream that will have a one-year surprise of this video. Many believe that Hololive has already been in contact with the creator and will remake the video putting their mouths and money to make it better. (hololive is embracing a lot what fans do)

you should react to holoweEN..also..animation was done BY A SINGLE PERSON...which boggles my mind...and in video u can hear each girl original songs in orchestral version.yes those are council symbols(sana one flickering since she is no longer in clouncil).and lastly in part where its starts rewinding and camera goes thru clouds...in clouds u can see irys symbol (meaning there still is hope)

Sana's symbol flickering has a double meaning, it also represents the fact that she too is connected to the Ancient Ones. While Ina is their Priestess, Sana is their Apostle according to her own lore.

The Ancient Ones possessed Ina, leading to this. At the end, Ame didn't merely "create a new timeline" - as she warned herself, that wouldn't do anything. She DESTROYED AND REBOOTED THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE, from the beginning, hoping the new one would result in better conditions when the Ancient Ones tried again.

I suggest you check out Detective's Diary by Crash Landing Studio...It's main focus is on Ame's detective life in England(I presume that cartoon is set in the 1800s era bcoz of how the cops looked.
