I wish I had paid more attention to RDJ's vocal talent back in my teens in the 80s. Back then we appreciated the music and band as a whole. Now I am now 50 and while I relisten to DIO and Rainbow do I realize and appreciate what an extraordinary vocalist he was. RIP Ronnie, you are indeed one of the greatest gems of Metal.

Same. I liked Ronnie Dio back in the `80`s, and I liked the first Dio solo album w. Vivian Campbell, and Last in Line was decent. His voice is giant and comes from a man that was barely 5ft. 2 in. tall. He sure brought it to ya live as well!

Don't talk to strangers Cause they're only there to do you harm Don't write in starlight Cause the words may come out real Don't hide in doorways You may find the key that opens up your soul Don't go to Heaven Cause it's really only Hell Don't smell the flowers They're an evil drug to make you lose your mind Don't dream of women Cause they'll only bring you down! Hey you, you know me You've touched me, I'm real I, forever The one that lets you look and see and feel me I'm danger, I'm the stranger And I, I'm darkness, I'm anger, I'm pain I, I'm master The evil song you sing inside your brain Drive you insane Don't talk Don't let them inside your mind, yeah Run away, run away, go! No, nooooo! Don't let them in your mind Protect your soul Don't dance in darkness You may stumble and you're sure to fall Don't dream of women Because its only your dream To become a stranger Don't smell the flowers They're an evil drug to make you lose your mind I see them all And they all bring you what ? Down I down Run, run, run Run away Don't you talk, don't you talk no Don't talk, don't talk Don't talk, don't talk

Vivian probably has an edge and is a great guitarist. Doug has a awesome style and played with so many bands as a back. I saw the original line up in 1983 at the San Jose civic center, which was a fantastic concert. I can say that this later band was pretty special and very tight. I think it is a matter of opinion. In any event we both are loyal Dio fans. Cheers!!!!
