Such an impact on a young, scared, girl, just left 10 years of abuse, walking streets alone, came to an open door of a small club, listened to this little guy, talking kindly to the crowd, then heard this AMAZING, HUGE, voice come out, you gave me a bit of strength that day, it came when I least expected it and needed it the most, had Goosebumps when my 24 yr old son picked me up yesterday and this song was on his playlist, listened loud, then told him the story, THANK YOU my friend, you were outstanding in every way.

@@aynakotalaga I think you're right. Vivian was awesome but Goldy was hell on wheels, too. Edit: Yes, this is definitely Craig Goldy. Still killer, agreed! Anyway... besides the fact of the BC Rich Warlock guitar, I knew something was different about how the song was being played. It's right after Dio's "We are coming.... home!" Vivian definitely emphasized different parts of that rhythm guitar part than Goldy does here. It's subtle, and only lasts until the verse kicks in, but: Vivian trades off with the keyboards, whereas Goldy plays along with the keyboard part. I always enjoyed hearing that bit and was surprised when I didn't hear it in this video. Dio Last in Line (live) in 1984, with Vivian Campbell on lead guitar: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6KYhGRmmah7l6c

Ronnie got a hold of this and invited the band to his upcoming show in Providence. He sent several tickets to the band. I was dating the bassists brother at the time, so naturally, he invited me. I had no idea I'd end up back stage meeting this man. After Ronnie concluded his business with our little band, he approached me and said, "so I've been told you're from Greece"? "When we're you brought over to the States"? And this conversation lasted for a half an hour. Ronnie was highly into Greek mythology.

Such a gracious performer, he really respected the audience. This little man brought Black Sabbath back, sang with Rainbow, and on his own, DIO. What a great voice. And for all this demonic and satin shit....listen to the lyrics. And see him interviewed on religion. God blessed him with a great talent. RIP Ronnie.........millions loved you.
