Good game although we are playing now as a irresponsible King, the King looks like he had enough of all problems on his kingdom and just drink it out while watching birds passingby. That was hilarious way to start the game. 😆

yeah i hated that in most games you issue an order too attack say a building an they will do just that, an proceed to let themselves get beat on by the enemy when they sally out too attack you..nice little added feature, i like that. Gives you the option to issue an order an forget , an not have to baby sit them.

They are Billions is designed to waste my time, there have been litterally dozens of threads raised on the Steam forum about a proper Save feature. The developers have deleted many of these threads and just do not want to accomodate for one as an option whatsoever. Not everyone has hours upon hours of time to put into a game, so I hope Diplomacy treats its customers with some more respect when it comes to time wasting

I used to copy paste my savegames for TaB, they call is scumsave, I call it smart... DinaO does that way better indeed, multiple saves AND autosaves as well. Strange that the other devs are so weird about it right? Prob because they made a ton of money so why bother I guess... Who knows. Cheers, Jake. ;-)

@@ZaddyFlex I think you're right. I often watch one of the longer recorded Twitch streams on Splattercat's channel, especially if I'm really interested in the game he's featuring. You hear Splat talk about his "Twitch" audience and "KZbin" audience a lot in a meta way, and how different they are ... but as far as I can tell there's a lot of overlap. A lot of people who primarily know him through KZbin do want to see the in-between stuff that gets edited out of the videos, just like you would be able to on a full Twitch stream. I know some streamers do this, keep their full stream recordings uploaded to their channel for good ... not sure if there might be some kind of Twitch exclusivity deal that would prevent him from doing that, though. I'm also not sure how you get permission from KZbin to regularly post long-form content.

@@capnheehee8103 You don't need permission to do one or the other. Though Twitch, and only Twitch, prevents partners and affiliates from posting stuff they have broadcast on Twitch to other platforms for 24 hours. There are 10 hour long videos of meem songs on KZbin, I don't know what the upper limit is, but it's a lot. The only problem with posting long videos, and the reason streamers use a secondary channel, is that the almighty KZbin algorithm disfavor them quite a bit. As for monetizing on Twitch, they do roll adds on VoDs, but I doubt if the streamer gets very much for it.

@@TrueRandomization I view all game purchases in terms of -- "What would $X buy me in the local pub on a Friday night, and how long would it take to drink that amount of money?" ( in this case $21). 3 rounds? 1 round for self and 2 friends? Sure. This game has easily given me more joy than 3 rounds at the pub -- quickly pissed away in an hour. I have played this game long enough to lock myself in said Pub for a weekend drinking enough to make Nancy Pelosi good looking.... well maybe not enough beer for that but, Yeah. It is well worth the $25, and even full price to be honest. It is one of the better games out there in '22.

If you want to explore your surroundings at the start, the catapult has an insane los. Altho slow to move, it's far better than the soldiers to reccy with.

if this is an alpha, the day 0 makes sense since its the first index value of any collection of data, this would be a dynamic list for instance of days moving forward, so when a new day is added into the empy list, that day would occupy the position 0 in it. i guess they forgot to change that in their ui to be the position +1.. dunno
