13:08 having numerical superiority doesn't matter if you make everyone attack from the same direction. All you have to do is make the second squad attack from a different angle or else they'll all just queue behind the first row waiting for their turn to fight

oh good to know that. I've just started playing last night and I had the same thing I saw them waiting for their attack turn. Assumed it was normal game mechanic. I'll give the split a go =D

I think the criticism of the game being good but empty and just needing more of itself is also a nice compliment. Seeing the obvious amount of work and attention to create a visually pleasing and immersive atmosphere, the game looks on a good trajectory. I couldn't help but notice how some warriors were staying behind and idle during fights, different options of formation in and out of combat would help quite a bit imo.

Would be nice if the points of interest you cleared, i.e. the bandit camp or the abandoned cargo, would disappear after you cleared them. Also if they made the world outside of your sphere of infulenece active, i.e. new POIs would spawn over time.

Every-time I hear Splat talk about loving Mead and being sad he can't have it it makes me wonder where he lives that it's only Imported and expensive. Also I wonder why he don't just try brewing some. It's pretty simple.

Every house gives community to others close by currently, so you have to put them all together. Instead, they could do something like every house inside the longhouse zone will give community to the other houses, as long as they are inside the same zone, no matter the distance.

I played a mobile game called "The Bonfire 2: Uncharted Shores" which feels very similar to this game. This looks way better, but the similarities are... suspicious.

Oh mead, I know a couple of good places. Helderberg in NY makes some of the best I've had. Then Groennfell in Vermont looks really good, haven't had the chance to try it yet, but what I've seen has been positive, and they seem to put a lot of resources into ethical practice and the community.

For anyone in my neck of the woods who sees Helderberg in store, or visits their actual tasting room, I did a tasting of all their products and I don't think there's a bad one in the bunch. That said, their hard cider is the best cider I've had, and their feral or sweet feral is probably the best mead they have. It's a little more expensive, but they make it with wild caught yeast, and it just tastes amazing.
