I have a 1999 600 GRIZZLY 2017 Kodiak 700 EPS 2018 Sportsman XP1000 2020 Scrambler XP1000 S After getting the Scrambler everything else has been parked. Years ago I didn't see how Yamaha could make a 1000 because it would cost way more than the other brands 1000 but now Polaris and Can-Am have raised its prices so much I think they could do it and be lower priced. Yamaha cut prices and the GRIZZLY when down $1,000 .

@crazyflyboy30Ай бұрын
@@Daniel_BDB yes the 2025 GRIZZLY when down $1,000. You can see it on the Yamaha website just click on the 24 model then click the 25 model and it's $1,000 less. Other Yamaha model have gone down in price and some SXS are $1,500 down for the 2025 model. Unfortunately the Raptor 700 didn't go down but at least it didn't go up .

I've never used AD clutching, but it being the best sounds like BS to me. What was the final ratio count on the primary? Be nice to have a comparison of modified clutches from other guys that do Mod Sheaves. I personally love my Coop45 Sheave.
@Adclutching3 ай бұрын
@@williamconlon4183 hey William, our sheaves without shim are about 2.875:1, we can get 3:1 with a .4mm shim but unfortunately running the maximum 3:1 ratio right off the bat doesn’t allow for much belt wear which is why we opt for the slightly less ratio and leave it up to the customer to add the last bit of shim if they prefer, as some customers would not be happy with the belt rubbing the inside of the cover, especially on the newer models. We have done a ton of testing over the years including comparing our setups to others out there to try and have the best setup on the market, we’ve been very receptive to feedback from our customers which has definitely helped along the way, we’re still always open to suggestions for improvements with our products.
@scramblerx835Ай бұрын
I like the build, I have a couple suggestions for future builds. Kawasaki brute force 750 or Polaris sportsman 570 built the same as this yamaha, similar wheels and tires, increase power, suspension and strip down to shed some weight. OR Yamaha could save us some time and build a factory 4x4 RAPTOR!

I have a Kodiak 700 EPS and I done the modified clutch sheave from Hunterworks with 3mm of Shims and I was able to push the stock gear ratio for 48:1 to a insane 64:1 and I had to modify the belt cover. You need to make sure that the nut on the primary clutch is good and tight and maybe even some lock tight because they are known to come loose and destroy everything. And what he said about the shocks preload you would think that would be right but for what ever reason it just seems like it rides ruff when you set the preload up I think it's because the shocks Leverage changes has the A arm's are down more a lift kit will do the same thing and the preload has not been touched. I a 2018 Sportsman XP1000 and have been working on something like what you doing to the GRIZZLY. And I may do a custom body for it to reduce weight. I also have a 1999 GRIZZLY Scrambler XP1000 S

Been wanting Elka stage 5s, for my Grizzly, for many years now, especially for the low and high damping which you don't get on the stage 3 shocks. But cost of entry, $4400 US for the set. I can't imagine total cost having Accelerated Technologies fine tune the suspension but I know the difference will not even be close to what the OEM suspension is like.

5's are the top of the line. Stage 1's are even a huge upgrade over stock shocks. This calibration will make a massive difference.
