@@benjaminlechappers getting there. Pretty much exactly the same experience as yourself. Not great sleep the night before (in the Teepee 🥶). Felt good at 50km, felt rubbish at 90km, decided to pull the pin and complete the 130km (122). Next year for sure the 200km! Thanks for the content.

I was cycling through the night in that cold - I did a 300km audax loop instead of the DR this year and just up the road from Kielder across in the Scottish Borders the temperature dropped down to -8C it was perishing - luckily I was prepared for some of the coldest weather ever had the pleasure of cycling in. Two weeks earlier I was cycling across the canaries at GranGuanche so it was a bit of a shock to the system. Vlog starts this evening 7.45 ;-)
