Mnemonic for Maraviroc, I pronounce it as Maverick and think of Tom Cruise in Top Gun. Maverick = Maraviroc Tom = surface of T cells Cruise = CCRuise (CCR-5) toP Gun = gp120 (g for gun, p for toP, and 120 is bigger number than 41 so its top)

Another quick mnemonic if you're like me and need one for everything. I pronounce enfuvirtide as "EN-4-virtide." That helps me remember that it inhibits viral "ENtry" (penetration) by blocking gp41.

The best "drug" for HIV is nothing more than a healthy diet & exercise with intermittently detoxing. All these medications are toxins. More/most HIV + people who survive without any of these poisons survive and live a normal life. Today's COV is yesterday's HIV.

Let just give a brief testimony of myself here. This might be very beneficial to some of you here and it might put an end to your ordeal. Well, i was once an hiv/aid patient. I contacted the deadly virus about 4 years ago, since then, the stigma and shame has not been easy for me to bear. all this while, i have been living on normal drugs to suppress the virus to help me live my normal life not until recently when i met this great doctor online in one of the USA HIV/AIDS care group on facebook. I contacted him and i got some herbal medications from him which i used as he instructed, just after 14 days, indeed, i was treated and i tested negative. You can contact dr cozon on +13192094060 if you need him

As a student of neuropsychology, we recommend to repeat information over 7 times, preferably using flashcard. Based on Atkinson-Shifrin memory model, short term memory decay occurs very fast under stress influence, affected by attention and lack of repetition. Repeat the process the next day. Repeating over 7 times, the short term memory(STM) is most likely to transfer all information to your LTM for later retrievals. Consequently, significantly improving memorisation drug names for your exams.

It's interesting, at 27:58 it looks like he made an adjustment on the CCR5 specificity. I agree, in all of my practice questions, I feel like the key association with CCR5 is the macrophages. When you are thinking of what a CCR5 blocking agent will do, I believe that what they want to hear is slowing the spread specifically in the macs. Can anyone confirm this?

I love this and thanks!. Americans and Brits: Note that Videx (didanosine or DDI) and Stavudine (d4T) and delavirdine (Rescriptor), are not really used much in the US or UK anymore. DDI and D4T are early NRTIs created over 30 years ago and I'm pretty sure it was taken off the market (in the west anyway), though I do rememeber a time when I used to prescribe both, and yes, folks would get pancreatitis and awful peripheral neuropathy from them. Rescriptor (NNTRI) was also apparently taken off the market but I'm unsure why. Does anybody here know more than me on these three drug? Are there countries where firtst generation qgents are still being used instead of newer generations????
