After removing the herniated part, do they close the annular fibrosis or this just heals on its own after the fact?

I'm scheduled to do this procedure soon and I must admit I'm a bit nervous

Don't be, I got this done a year ago and it saved my life. I could barely walk from the pain and now it's 100% gone. The whole process was honestly pretty pleasant, mostly because I can't remember most of it lol

@Jake the snake I'm still doing some physio to strengthen the muscles in my back and legs. Literally walked out the hospital the same day after. No more pain I can tell you. But just be mindful that your back is not what it used to be but you can live pretty normal
