I visited here with my ex girlfriend about 5 years ago in the winter when it was snowing. Beautiful place to visit! I remember the cafe as well, lovely coffee and food in a cool environment, I remember them telling me about the gorilla conservation as well!

Nice little vid! We were booked in at the Royal Oak a couple of weeks back hoping for some decent winter mountaineering conditions but cancelled when it was high winds and rain 😩

Ahh it’s always touch and go yo get the right conditions. I’ve had many a Scotland trip ruined due to poor weather

Wont be hurtling with the 20 mph limit, which is fine in a town. Always heard Betsy Code the name thanks for the correction. Miss the towns like this, sorely missing over here, guess its with Canada being a relatively young country.

Great video. I've never heard it pronounced like that before. I'm there in June.

I had to research the correct pronunciation as I’d pronounced it differently too

Great video, very good whistle stop. We visited last Summer with my daughter and her beau. We had Sunday lunch at that place you went It was very nice. The river walks are beautiful and Swallow Falls is a real sight for sore eyes. Enjoyed revisiting with you & Helen.

Looks stunning, Ive never been to Wales. Definitely looks very similar to the Lakes. You dont fancy working your magic to do some digging and see if there is any news on any plans for sycamore gap? I would like to think they going to do something to commemorate the tree?

Cheers Martin, I’ll have a look into it

Back in my youth we had a gem of an uncle, fabulous guy and only car in our extended family, every summer he'd take one or two of us on holiday with his family to visit places around the UK, I got to the Lakes but my sister got to Betws, thanks to him our large family groups spent many weekends and holidays travelling, which for a working class kid back then was incredible. Now you are doing his job allowing the inner city to view what is out there and hope-fully (sorry about the pun) opening their eyes a wee bit.

Cheers Jim. Since filming in Snowdonia I’ve narrowed in on the type of videos I want to create on this channel, so I would have done this video a lot differently. I’m really looking forward to upscaling my content

I’ve been to Beth’s-y-Coed in 2009. Not a place I fondly remember as it was Friday the 13th and my friend’s car broke down.
