I look forward to seeing more videos specifically on this. I’ve done the recalibration for my Tech-Rails Sabers to re-level the board through the NRFConnect app. So if I’m understanding you correctly you can not fix and change the GT battery if ever it wears out without sending it back to FM? I’ve been worried about investing all this different money into this board because it’s only a matter of time before I’d eventually need a new battery. I ride this thing all the time and don’t want to pay to send it across the country for a batter change I could just do myself.

And have to change everything back to stock, or they strip it themselves, put stock back on, charge you for it all and...keep your aftermarket products.

This reset DOES allow you to change battery, it will clear the errors you get after disconnecting the GT battery that you used to have to send into FM for. As he mentioned it’ll even re-pair BMS’s out of different boards. So if your GT loses some cells or a BMS, this reset lets you fix it on your own and get it running without sending it to San Jose. Before this and after rewheel got shut down, there wasn’t really a way to reset the board after disconnecting on the GT other than dealing with FM, so this is very helpful. I’ll be watching for the hall sensor recalibration videos!

Correct. You could not disconnect the battery without bricking your GT before this method was discovered. Would have had to send your board back to FM.

Does the calibration affect all axes? Or just the tilt axis?

Although we haven't extensively tested this, we always treat it as if it affects all axes. This is the safest approach to eliminate potential issues.

@@fixmypev slowly as I'm also needing a new car unfortunately. I've plans to buy over time. Right now I've got a few shells of fm boards and have a flowglider box from makers pev coming. I made self balancing arduino robots before and could maybe re purpose one but I'd surely not trust it to handle a larger circuit, and using a relay board would be iffy
