We have not used the outside TV much, but with this smaller rig, and being on the mountains with cooler weather we sit outside more. It was a great but a bit grueling hike.

I live in New Mexico and let me tell you we are always thankful for any rain that we get. Even if we go on a hike, we love the rain. We only get 6 to 7" of rain a year, if we're lucky. So we love the rain. Anytime, any place here in New Mexico! So we are never unthankful for the rain even if we are going for a hike or camping in our beautiful state. It is either the beginning or the ending the the Rocky Mt depending on which you start. Montana says it starts there.

L9ve the outdoor TV, we want one for the house, actually i watched this video on our back deck at 11pm on the tablet...70 with a slight breeze, helps make me feel like were there..lol. I would have to say by the smiling faces that the Lance is working out well. Happy Father's day to you Ken... Cheers 🥃🥂🥂‼️

Geezzz Ken, if you take a header getting the picture of the cactus flower (4:52), you're toast, adios amigo, sayonara dude, as in gouge diving big boy and Pam there left holding the camera as they say, will be starring in one of her own true crime stories. I can see it now: Couple buys small Rv, husband "trips" into gouge, story at 11. All that hiking and the brewhouse is closed!? That wouldn't have stopped the Ramblers' from getting in there. haha Enjoy the cooler temps. You guys working The Silver Knot this year? Rock on RoadSmiths!!

Haha...there was a ledge about 20 feet below. to either stop my fall or bounce me all the way down. There were some spots thought to be very very careful about getting too close. We were so disappointed that it was closed..but that meant we go to the steak quicker. Haha. And yes...Ron and Jodi would have not taken no for an answer!

Hey guys you have sold this area to us! That bridge and Gorge looked great. Nice television set up Ken we took the TV out of our first RV but the new one came with 3 and the outside one has been used a lot. Ron likes it on when he is grilling and we actually play a lot of concerts on it which is really nice! Wow you guys are way ahead of us much of our hiking hasnt happened and we are so behind now we are going on a cruise in which we will be doing everything that will not help with hiking and when we get back we are going to festivals we are going to be in trouble when we see you in the fall. The man you guys saw on that hike did sound inspirational I would have for sure have told ourselves to get our act together. Dinner looked good sorry about the brewery you took the disappointment well! Safe Travels! Jodi ( and Ron)

There used to be a place on US64 going into Taos called the Blue Moon campground on the South side of 64. I camped there three or four times back in the early 2000s. I had a pop tent camper from Leesurelite that I pulled with my Motorcycle. Great place, far enough off the highway that road noise wasn’t a problem, nice shower.

@@TheRoadSMITHS 64 is a pretty nice road. You can get in from Cimarron, which was a disappointment after all the Western fame, up into Eagle’s nest, by the Vietnam Veterans memorial and on to Taos. Pretty country.

Sounds like you’re a much more seasoned hiker than we are if you hiked Wheeler Peak! 😅 We did think about hiking up your the peak, but it only took a moment to realize it was probably best if we didn’t since this was our first hike of the season! We will definitely have to do it the next trip to the area and plan correctly to enjoy a beer after! Cheers! 🍻

Beautiful lake! Looked like a nice but tiring hike. Did you see that man with crutches again in the hike back to help him out? I feel bad about him hiking alone and on crutches. Was it cold up there? How dud Meka do on the hike? Where’s my steak? lol! 😂 it’s in the triples here in Vegas. Hope you have a great weekend and week and great 4th of July. See you soon!

@TheRoadSMITHS
@TheRoadSMITHS 2 ай бұрын
The cost all depends on where you stay, for how long ( better discounts for at least a week and/or monthly stays), how far you travel and how often. Do you boondock/moochdock or full campgrounds etc. We recently did a video on looking at our expenses of traveling versus stick and bricks living.
