So, I basically have a PHD in Twin Peaks, and I didn’t know about the giant in the Feralas incursion until now. It’s worth emphasizing because, arguably, the whole bases for the show was David Lynch’s meta commentary on the show itself, the state of the film industry and the relationship between the audience and the content they were viewing. Take that notion and apply it to WoW, the developers and the players, the implications do not seem coincidental. I know it’s a massive corporation with all sorts of yellow tape, and MMOs are meant to make you feel like there’s a truly personal connection between the players and their activities, and yes I’m naturally superstitious. But in some rare instances it really does feel like there could be a connection or the lines may be temporarily blurred. “We are like the dreamer who dreams, and then lives inside the dream.”

ok wow..i was doing twin peaks research for the video (trying to understand the giant / fireman character) and didn't realize this. if i were to go back and watch the original twin peaks now do you think it would be worth doing?

@@NOHITJEROME Haha oh wow okay, first thing is full stop. Do not look up any more about Twin Peaks, no wikis no images. I was lucky to have never heard of it before a trusted friend demanded I watch it, went in a complete blank slate, try your best to reset to that point, it’s necessary for full effect. Twin Peaks is now my favorite show and it’s very seriously not even close, the prequel Fire Walk With Me is among my favorite movies. There are some other caveats, you have to approach it with an open mind, a willingness to go on the journey, and you have to embrace everything about it- that’s what a lot of people can’t get past. It’s a murder mystery sitcom from 1990 with all the camp of that era and a ton more. But if it helps, Twin Peaks is what directly inspired X-Files, Lost, and basically everything we know of as ‘binge worthy television’. The other thing is you kind of have to make room for it, you have to approach it as an experience, David Lynch is a master of suspense and he doesn’t use any CGI, just stakes and atmosphere. But if you’re just playing it in the background while you multitask you’ll miss things, it won’t land, and Twin Peaks out of context is a literal meme video compilation that YOU MUST NOT WATCH. Just, make yourself a blank slate and let it unfold for you. Then, if you can get past all that, the Twin Peaks series including FWWM and The Return is the most ambitious and compelling television that has ever been created. It exists in its own category because no other work of film has come near what Twin Peaks accomplishes. Not just saying it’s really good, like, it’s not even on the tier list, it has its own tier list with just itself because nothing else has broken the barriers it has.

@@NOHITJEROME OP here is 100% correct. Twin peaks is one of the best shows ever and a personal favourite of mine also. Most people dont make it to the end though as it would be considered VERY slow by todays standards.

@@stemson6883 Ya! If I didn’t make clear, Twin Peaks single-handedly reinvented what is now considered quality entertainment by modern standards. But it is also very dense. That’s a big statement and for brevity’s sake I won’t unpack it. Idk, it just clicked for me, I picked up right away on what Lynch might call the ‘dreaminess’ and was all in for that. I went on to feeling the same way about Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, etc. But you’re right I’ve learned it’s not for everyone, which still surprises me. When it hits it hits so hard. And like, if you think to find that anywhere else it’s rare. But it’s also what everything else strives for. Lynch somehow manages to get there. I’ll stop. Gonna go rewatch segments of Twin Peaks haha.

The pet rock is a copy of turtle wows mailbox and talent reset box which you could jump on players would use it to do skips such as going from the egg room in ubrs straight to the last boss

@@NOHITJEROME farmed endless stuff, to sum it up 100 arcanite bars. I believed they wouldnt let live the old blue crafts like truesilver champion heartseeker arcanite reaper etc (and today i get confirmed with an epic arcanite reaper datamine) even if we saw them blue on ptr. Those items were terrible apart from annihilator and never crafted because of asking half a sulfuras for a preraid or even worse item. Also i believed that since they throw spotlight on all classes and specs there would be more than the old legendaries, which are 1 superstrong staff pvp and pve bis for all casters, a pvp 2h mace for war shampala and a 1h tanking sword or rogue oh for style. Also if game asked everyone to farm say 20 30 bars that would be nearly impossible with the competition, i think its the safest to assume this preparation, and an alt rogue with mining and alch xmute quest done is prepared!! Reps done on main since last phase, even if seeing t0.5 sets makes me think rep items wont be necessary, maybe only ab cloak. Keep it up!!!

I hope we just haven't found hidden items/mounts. I remember The Hivemind was such a fun mount to find. Everyone worked together to find it. Edit: A dev posted that the dagger is not currently available in the game yet(besides the vendor).
