i think its the opposite. no one with a brain would park a leaking winch over a fish hold full of dollar bills. if the leaks on the winch just boom over so its easy to get to the winch. running boom and knuckle have no effect on the winch leak. heck you could run a string using just the boom and not even touch the winch. shows lame sauce and half fake

@@madeofscars9355 kinda maybe, but seems like every time someone dies in a confined space there is another someone who tried to save them that also dies. On Jakes boat, fixing the hydraulic leak on the crane, it looked like there wasn’t anywhere to grab onto after you got up so high. What a horrible position to been in. Especially with the boat rolling so bad in the waves. Even the camera view looking down to the deck from the crane was super sketchy looking…and a BIG fall to deck. Don’t think I could’ve made it up there and held on to fix the hose. Brutal environment and situation 😐

6:17: “If the forward void floods it will claim the ship”. That is an outright falsehood, these boats are compartmentalized, and can float with one compartment flooded. Also, the Captain would have to answer to the Coast Guard for continuing on with a hull in that condition. An unscripted Captain would have immediately headed for the nearest port.

Where the pots keep hitting the boat? Why isn't there a huge piece of steel added to the boats hull in that area to absorb the impact? Does every pot hit the bottom of the boat? I would want steel added to that area like they do to make the bow stronger for the ice. This is only the 2nd time I have heard it mentioned about the pots hitting the bottom of the boat. The first time was the Hillstrands when they put a truck on Phil's string.
