Once you hit the wall grinding the last stage just raise the stars in cheat shop and force the money from senators bill those enemies go up to 9999 good for farming

I really like the new Juice Bar, D-Merits and Demonic Intelligence. I found the Hospital auto-healing and the ability to create scroll so easily nice. Thanks to the Demonic Intelligence, my unit can go from level 1 to 9999 by fighting senators with 100 exploding Prinnies in a single fight.

I'm gonna cut NIS some slack on this one. They were coming back from a mobile game that bombed and went nearly bankrupt. This was prolly released to help keep them afloat. Hopefully they'll figure out where they're going take Disgaea going forward

Disgaea 6 essentially takes away more than half of the content you had in 5. At least you don't have to do battles yourself anymore... you know, the entire point of the game.

Yeah true but at the same time we still don't know the games full potential yet. Where they took stuff away they may have added other things case and point Chara World vs Juice Bar. @@WinksontheWeekend Unfortunately I've been following the JPN release for a while, and I know that not everyone can do this because of the language barrier. Carnage Dimension is at least still in it, and the newer Super Carnage Dimension, items and innocents (reduced) are not required to hit max stats making their utilization near worthless outside of movement or resists. The switch from 2d to 3d - skills don't feel impactful at all, weapon base skills are removed, the amount of generic monsters and humanoid classes severally diminished, magichange removed, no tera heal and no peta spells (again). Content feels watered down, and as a long time fan of the Disgaea games since the ps2* era I am a just a little let down. I'll still be playing the ENG release when it comes out too, but it just feels like they took a step backwards in the content department.

@@sepulchral. yeah I've heard of some of these changes from another person that described similar changes. I've been playing disgaea since game since ps2 I remember having a game shark that allowed you to just cheat and create characters with max stats lol That's how old I am lol

i dont like how damage is shown in battle, in disg 5 and previous games every attack had an impact and damage was shown after every hit. now with disgaea 6 you have an attack animation and damage is summarised as one figure at the end

Not bad. I've got a full squad of 10, master in all classes, minimum 5M in all stats, two hitters with 2B in some stats, 211B Juice Bar EXP, and 20T HL. This demo is delightful.

If you are still in the early phase of the demo save all scrolls from quest I accidentally sold them but you get 2 really important grinding evilities and the don't spawn again until full game its happy song and fortune song. And Primal liquid has some good demo grinding vids out already.

you can easily get rank 39 weappns in demo by using auto battle raising weapon mastery in cheat shop and just let your game run all night change your switch seetings to no screen off mode plug your switch in over night i have all rank 39 weapons already

I think you gotta reincarnate your generics before you can start changing classes. I can changes the classes on mine now but I remember at one point I couldn't. I really don't know for sure what unlocked it, though

Best way ive been able to generate Karma is by maxing out level and reincarnating repeatedly, which kind of explains why they implemented the auto battles and auto repeating cause it is grindtastic, at level 99,999,999,999 you generate 124,xxx,xxx,xxx karma which seems like a lot... But it isn't... Never enough Karma

I play all my disgaea games on the switch. Doesn't sound like it's a demo problem. Sounds like it's a system problem to be honest. My ps4 started making noises with every game right at the end

To be honest, equipment aptitudes + tower skills + character classes + monster weapon type + weapon skills for customization of the already limited selection of generic units + 3D combat cutscenes feel like I'm watching e pokemon battles + removing Overloads will it be as challenging as the predecessor series..? Those who played Disgaea either 1 - 5 series.. U will understand what I mean.

There are a lot of things I love about 5 - best system by far, and one of my favorite stories of the series - but wow, there were also a lot of annoyances I hated to grind out. Chara World was awful, and so was the class proficiency grind. In 6, I'm liking the system alright so far, but I hate the art style change, and I'm not sold on the story yet.

only super reincarnators can change their class at the base freely, other characters have to reincarnate to do it, if you didn't notice.

@@WinksontheWeekend A loss of magichange (even though one of the cleric's voice lines mentions it), a loss of weapon skills, a massive downsize of what used to be mainstays for monster classes, as well as a loss of Aptitudes D2 was just weird with the amount of changes it brought with it and how easy it was to just master aptitudes while abusing the evility from the one makai kingdom cameo character, but at least then, mastering weapons or classes meant something, now you can just farm for new evilities by doing super reincarnations. In terms of art direction, attack animations seem like a downgrade from Disgaea 3, which is funny that we've come this far and are still using placeholder backdrops for near every single attack. The loss of weapon skills mean a hell of a lot more when there's no longer aptitude to worry about nor boosts from mastering your weapons, as getting triple stats from your gear used to just be a thing you'd scale up to by the time of hitting lvl 9999 But now with the excessive level cap of 99,999,999 and the loss of hands, requiring a thief now, for stealing of any kind feels like a massive step backwards and overall dumbing down, the likes of which hadn't really been achieved before outside of Disgaea D2, and to a lesser degree, Disgaea 5 With certain content coming out for this title in the way of DLC and patches, it has me curious if we'll see some generic classes return like with some of the previous runs, but all in all the combat's really just becoming so streamlined you're literally designing it to play itself. Great, I hate it, it's everything that turned me off of the phone title. There's probably a bit of a more coherent way I could approach this, and if you're down to continue this conversation, I'm interested, I just figured I'd spitball a few thoughts here as an answer, for now.

No status dealing spells anymore, can't reduce stats of enemies with spells anymore, outside of evilities and the native of psychics, and now the removal of alternate main evilities for some classes in the form of either opposite genders, or just 3 choices at reincarnation/creation seems a little awkward too, one example being the difference of the sp cost reduction in mages, versus the extra sp cost and damage innate in skulls. And granted, the three different choosable evilities, I think was a thing from D2, about the one good thing it brought to the table, aside from /maybe/ rasetsu

But naww, like, I'm a long time fan of the franchise, and I'm definitely going to play through this one, I'm just unsure about how it's going to be, especially with the amount of mistranslations we saw in 5 when it came to evilities, in that several evilities that read as boosting atk, were actually boosting damage dealt. Keep in mind this was also when they maxed how much of a +% you could get on stats through evilities to +100%

@@WinksontheWeekend true they had some good concepts in the game and your right the auto function was a big mistake it took away the ability to want to play it also i did not like the juice bar or the way you leveled up it takes away from the game and it felt to clunky it was a big step backwards i liked it for about 20 hrs into the game after that it felt to repetitive and forced
