Disney has the benefit of a deep bench of existing IP to keep their streaming service full. They don’t need to please everybody. They just need to keep the system working and parents are going to pay for it so their kids can watch frozen for the 3000th time. The other thing is, they don’t need to create 20 good movies a year. For a parks forward strategy they only need to make 1 great movie per year so they can keep the themes in their theme park fresh.

Also every once in a while the market decides to collectively hate and dog pile a monopoly. But monopolies gonna monopoly. They did it with meta and drove it’s stock into the ground. It’s up 300% over the year.

I don't have children, so I have not seen anything related to Disney sense the lion King and I think 3 of the Marvel movies. So as an outsider looking at the Disney hype is so weird to me.

Around 6:20, he is discussing the math of the VIP tour business, and mentions 90% Margins, on a 150m and then says something about a multiplier... anyone have an idea what he is thinking there? What multiplier am I missing that gets it to 1.5 billion?
