I love the sea! When I'm there I always look for shells, driftwood and other treasures. Fossil hunting is exciting too! After a trip to the Jurassic Coast in Dorset (Charmouth) and a Somerset beach (Kilve) I came back with some fossils and so today I show you how to display your beach finds in an exciting way by creating 3D frames and decorating a corner of my home.

Who are you and where are you from?
I'm Eva and I'm from Bavaria, hence my accent. :)
Why Miss Anglophilia?
At the age of ten, I had my first encounter with the English language at school. My teacher never tired of telling us inspirational stories about culture “on the island”. And that was it - I fell in love with it all! So Miss Anglophilia is me and it has been for many years.
Is this just about England?
As for me, it all started with England which we were taught a lot about at school. I was lucky enough to live in England for a little while during my university years. There, I got to know many lovely people - not only English, but also Scottish, Welsh and Irish. So for me, “anglophilia” doesn’t stop at the English borders.
What does "Servus" mean?
It's a Bavarian word used to greet people that you know and like. :)

A great way to display your "souvenirs" and enjoy them all the time! I have so many finds and little things from my travels stowed away somewhere, but utilizing wall space is a great idea! 👍🏻

Hi Eva ! Your discovered objects in frames works very well and look good in your themed corner. We may adopt this method. Our present arrangement is so much less satisfactory ! Du hast so viele versteckte Talente....sehr schön. Ich selbst finde Treibholz so schön, leider bin ich nie am Meer (da ich die Sonne nicht mag). Eva, you are a delight and your presentation is superb. I too love fossils (almost being one probably has sometime to do with it!). Knowing the great age of these things helps to ground us doesn't it? We appreciate our fleeting moment of time in the universe. Your ideas here are excellent. I have a hot glue gun and a few fossils together with a spare frame or two (if deep enough). I think the spear-like one you have is a belemnite. Best wishes! Terry
