This was my first Mayhem Fest.. I attended 2011-2015.. best memories of my life were at these shows. Really miss having a festival like this to look forward to every year

WTF disturbed went on at like 10:00 and there was still daylight. When they played in raleigh it was pitch black when they came on and it was pitch black for most of godsmacks set

These guys are fantastic, love Disturbed a shit ton more than Godsmack. However, I think I speak for everyone on this entire planet when I say COME ON, Megadeth is bigger than Disturbed on paper, on tour, in selling value, everything. Megadeth should've been the soul headliner of this tour, and Disturbed and Godsmack should've been their support. Oh well.

I wouldn't say Disturbed is just as big as Megadeth nowadays... Megadeth is still the bigger band of the two. Disturbed headlined because the mayhem festival usually appeals to younger audiences that may have not heard Megadeth yet. Megadeth is still one of the biggest bands of all time, but man, back in the early-late 90's, no band but Metallica could touch Megadeth. They were headlining over other metal giants left right and center. Miss those days...

Megadeath is definetly good but Disturbed deserved to be head liner. Megaeth is older so thats why they are bigger. Disturbed has only been around for about 12 years now and just as big as Megadeth.
