crazy how I ran across your vids the same day as I started thinking of making my own. Well done!

After a bit of searching, I think that best way to optimize it would be lowering the RPM with gearbox or with rewinding the motor. something around 80kv-120kv will work good

Great project, i wonder is it possible use cordless wrench? Because it have moto, battery, controller, also speed switch
@3dprintcnc164 Жыл бұрын
Probably, but I think you need to make some changes to the design to make it fit with your parts

Hi, what is the diameter impeller? Rpm and nozzle diameter? Yhanks.

This is great speed! Have you tried diving?

Thanks, no I haven’t yet, but I’ll try probably this week. Unfortunately I don’t have a GoPro or similar to Film underwater

Thank you for the inspiring video. How do you estimate 1500W? When I check the datasheet of the Reely 3650kv3215 motor that you are using, I see that the rated voltage is 8V and rated current is 42A (65A max). So 8V x 42A = 336W. Even if you overdrive it at 12V and 65A, you would get 780W. But I don't suppose this level of overdrive would have a long lifetime for the motor. Keep designing.

This dive jet uses a Turnigy G60 and a Flycolor 120a esc. The system is running on 20V and the motor is rated for 75A = 1500W

Not really, I made a new nozzle based on the M-Jet design, but couldn’t really test the performance compared to the normal nozzle yet

what halleffect sensor did you use for the throttle controll? i have tryed it but but it dose not output a stable signal
@3dprintcnc164 Жыл бұрын
I used an SS49e hall effect sensor. Maybe try some different magnets

@@3dprintcnc164did this give you a throttle value rather than just on/off? Great build btw!

Hi i am making this i using 1250 kv 5s motor and 3/1 ratio reducer 10k rpm is suitable İ havent tested it yet
@3dprintcnc164 Жыл бұрын
If you have 10k rpm at the prop, it’s perfect

With Two Jet it should be faster

In the future I might build a second one and than combine them to a jet-backpack
