The forward portion of the video takes place aboard the SS Burdigala; twin-screwed, triple funneled german/french ship. She sank 7 days before the Britannic, to the same minefield as the Britannic. Their wrecks lie about 1 mile apart, however the Burdigala is not documented as well as the Britannic.

Correct. Lately the BURDIGALA has been used as a checkout dive for folks planning to dive the BRITANNIC. It rests just outside of Korissia harbor and a bit over 2 nautical miles from BRITANNIC. Shallower, upright, and a fantastic dive. An article was written about the vessel and the wreck in issue 37 of Wreck Diving Magazine.

Totally Unoriginal I totally agree! While BRITANNIC has the pedigree, I think BURDIGALA has a better bang for the buck for divers. I’d love to get back on her...a phenomenal dive!

@@aocfishman00 Oh, I'm sure! Wish I could dive her myself, for now I'm just getting into diving. I've visited the island, however not the wreck itself. Deepest I've dove is on the Vandenberg, so I'll have a while to go.

It’s too deep for Scuba , unless excessive decompression is used.,or a deep submerged vehicle, as shown here .
