My friend Rodney was a big fan of Divinyls when he first bought the Album Desperate when he was 16 years old after recovering of Surgery from a Shoulder Separation from a Freak Car Accident in 1983 in Brisbane. He has almost every album and saw them live 4 times in his lifetime and even saw them in person backstage and got Chrissie's and Mark's Autograph. Rodney sadly committed suicide in 2003 after getting divorced from his wife. R.I.P Rodney 1967-2003 R.I.P Miss A

I saw them perform at Gladesville Pub in the 1970s ...absolutely brilliant...massive crowd of adoring fans...they had a wire fence at front of stage to stop young men molesting Chrissy Amphlet.

By no means was she an unattractive woman. In fact she was setting the standard for independent beauty standards in her living years. A lot of women who front bands that are more indie rock these days, notice their haircuts and notice their mannerisms. Chrissy was setting standards 40 years ago. Her haircut is timeless. Even her movements. Her whole aesthetic. Shes super sexy .

A kick-ass song, an inventive band, I would have expected this to be way better than this. Seeing the disaster the Mario Bros. movie was, this performance probably matches it. This bunch is probably doing request and they zipped it up. Roxy spent a couple years. Brian Eno playing it back . Roxy probably didn't sound perfect when they did it live either. Eno joined the Talking Heads for awhile Byrne is from my neck of the woods. Towson the heads really fit it with Roxy but Christin had more MOXY.
