Love the idea of the lattice instead of one bys. I did an accent wall using 1x3s and although it turned out beautiful, it is a bear to keep clean. Desert living brings a lot of dust😊.

Yes - the wood is a process with sawdust and having to sand. This is a little more $$ but less hassle. Great for some but not everyone

I have a few questions, hoping you can help! 1) did you nail the trim on any studs? If not is there any risk to that or are the nails not long enough to penetrate through pipes.(my worst fear) 2) did you not caulk the sides? Thank you!

Looks great. Only thing I would have done differently was moved that trim below the light switch. Being a few inches lower would not have been an eye sore. But having the trim go "through" the switch, then having the switch grey on top of that, has caused it to be an eye sore. But overall, still looks good.

Do you have tips if I don’t want to apply directly to the wall. Like maybe a big piece of wood in the back as the base, applying those wood pieces to it && then cover it with wall paper or paint it, then apply the whole thing to the wall somehow lmaooo would this work ?
