Can you post a video next time you do a block, please? I think this and rods would make a K hold 1kHP with Honda reliability. Not to be confused with F*&^ Honda reliability! (how many times more power than stock is it supposed to hold, anyway?)

Would like to see a video of it running and the power it makes. Show us.

Watching how that tool is moving when the drill is inside, is actually more scary than the best horror movie.

Can this be use in worn or bad water jacket? Does it help this thing to not over heat?

What kind of glue do you use twin glue?

Any particular reason for using salt versus sugar? I’ve seen other videos saying to do this before sending the block to the machine shop in case it slightly distorts a cylinder. Thoughts on that? That drill guide is slick. I need one. Loved part one and part two.
@danyan7 Жыл бұрын
is better use sugar, you need something soluble, easy to remove but salt is corrosive (it was for a little time) but sugar in not corrosive

Did you also cut the cylinder head for each opening of the engine?

HOW IS THE COOLING WITH THIS COULD I USE IT ON A DAILY CAR ?
@sethchurchvid2 жыл бұрын
Cooling is fine. Street use will be fine, ensure you bleed fully.

I think you did that just to change from open deck to close deck

Soo this wouldn't overheat the engine?
@faisalsohail90632 жыл бұрын
Nope. Not enough to even notice any changes apart from maybe a few degrees C higher coolant temps.

Easier to apply for one thing, it flows as a liquid, I used a squeeze bottle like for honey or catsup, made it easy to knead and mix also, get the squishy one...I don't know which is more durable, haven't ran my engine yet.

Because it was specifically engineered for automotive purpose to handle expansion rates and chemical abrasion.

Wow, the poor man's way to not pay the money to install Darton sleeves. If you are serious and want to make power, do the sleeves. Does this work? Who knows? I suppose it is better than nothing, but don't expect miracles. Consider this, all the heat is in the top of the cylinder and you are blocking that transfer by doing this. The Darton sleeves have provisions for coolant to flow all around the top of the cylinder. Ask yourself this, "Are you a cheap import dope, or a real go fast racer?" ... you'll have your answer.

Little harsh but you might be right

And the epoxy can be lowered further down the deck past the quench area to eliminate this issue, which isn't an issue to begin with in 4-cylinder engines, that's why they fill them to the top. Call it whatever but it works, so more power and freedom to the builder and you have no control over that. You sound like machine shops who claim that o-ring grooves only work on sleeves.
@TTGTO2884 ай бұрын
@SokoAircraft Idk who told you o-rings only work on sleeves, but that's wrong and so are the claims in your comments ... it's always funny to watch Honda guys fail miserably ...
