Those corner brackets and machining details make the machine look solid and well-built. It’s compact, sturdy, and has a clean look-really nice setup. And your workshop has everything you could need, with all kinds of tools. Great work!

Hey Travis, have you ever considered using an electric screw driver such as the Dewalt gyroscope screwdriver (model number: DCF680N2)? This one even has a built in clutch to ensure you tighten down the screws at a consistent torque. Could save you hours with all of those screws!

Thanks! I will check out that model. I was interested and researched them before, but I read so many conflicting reviews that I couldn’t decide which one to get, so I just never got one 😟

@ I’ve had mine for the last 5 years and it was worth every penny. Never broken on me (even after dropping it more times than I can count). Plus it has a built in light! Anyway, keep up the great work, can’t wait to see more of this project!

Loving the new build... my only gripe is the episodes could be longer.... lol

Totally understand, that’s the downside to me accepting multiple sponsorships…it makes me have to break up the videos in a way to promote the different sponsors. I have the next 3 videos ready to go and I will try to get them out asap.

I love the fact that you have such a wonderful workshop...but you still go outside to cut the linear rails with an angle grinder and a sleeper...🙂

I'm out of space 😅I need another room for my woodworking and grinding tools, somewhere I can make a mess!

I would have the machine shop put the thread in while they're making it. I mean, if you're having someone else make the parts, why wouldn't you? Unless you have a tap arm available 😮 I like your videos by the way 😊
@diyfiberlaser28 күн бұрын
Totally agree…I will provide the drawing for tapping if anyone wants to order them that way, I’m just enjoying using the tapping arm 😁

Price...it's easy to do yourself and will save a few bucks if budget is a concern

Can your fiber laser cut through wood? If yes, how thick can it cut?
@diyfiberlaser28 күн бұрын
Never tried it...I have a C02 laser for that.
@TAMARbarCNC27 күн бұрын
Can't cut wood, the capacitance sensor of the laser head can't recognize the material.
@diyfiberlaser27 күн бұрын
@@TAMARbarCNC I've seen a couple videos of people doing it, but apparently you have to disable the height sensor and manually set the height. I noticed a button in the Raytools software to disable it, but I've not tested it yet.

@diyfiberlaser I tried to cut wood once but didn't seccided haha.
