I have curly hair and I been cutting it myself for the past 3 years.. my 15 year old had hair like your and decided to cut her hair with a eyebrow raiser and she actually did n awesome job.

Looks beautiful styled. Next time go to a salon and ask for 2 layers at the back and face framing at the front. If you just ask for "long layers" they go crazy cutting and cutting all around like my case, first layer reaches my shoulders, the hair cut is not bad but I didn't want that, my hair was at my waist 😮😢. Yes, the lack of trust in hairstylists make us messed up with our hair a lot of times in many many cases

OR wet your hair split it down the middle all the way down and pull your two pieces to the front and cut starting bottom up using your longest length as a guide. You’ll have more control and you’ll be able to see better.
