DIY Homemade Pallet Forks Implement for the Kubota B2261 Compact Tractor

This video shows the making of a pallet fork implement that can be mounted at the front loader as well as on the rear 3P hitch of a Kubota compact tractor. The pallet fork implement was made using a standard Bobcat interface plate (1130 mm) and a FEM2 pallet fork carrier board.
On this implement any object with a FEM2 connection (=ISO) can be mounted. I have chosen for pallet forks with a length of 1200 mm to properly lift Euro Pallets (80 x 120 cm) at the long side as well.

Nice job and presentation- thank you. Just an idea, to weld / bolt expanded steel in open areas to protect your grill and engine hood. Still could see through, but a little more piece of mind (Or a grill guard).

Thanks. I have the original grill guard, but it doesn't fit because of the front 3P hitch. It is still on my 'to do' list to create an adapted version (see kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYnJkIWap7Orbtk).

Thanks for sharing video. I got some forks that clamp on my bucket but pushes the load forward limiting my lift capacity. I do need some quick attach forks like this.

Yes, the forward distance has a large effect. Also the guard is really helpful to increase load stability.

Very nicely done! I guess that I am spoiled being here in the US. When I bought my tractor used several years ago, it came with a pallet fork attachment. They are readily available here in the States. Very nice feature being able to use it on either end of the tractor. I haven’t seen that before! Jack

You can also flip your pallet forks upside down and get another 2.5 ft of height for your "man lift". I put a safety railing around three side of the pallet and tighten it to the frame with a rachet strap to make me feel a little more stable. I appreciate your engineering point of view.

@@OutdoorsintheLowCountries worthwhile investment in the US they are as cheap as $130 Just bought one, do need a little fab to work ideal. makes hooking up 3 point attachment much easier. I made a very strong 3 point trailer hitch quick hitch compatable and will add a sup soil digger to that soon from parts around the place. good luck

Greetings from the US. The Algorithm just served this up to me...really nice job. I laughed initially because over here the "Low Country" refers to the coastal region of the southern US around Charleston, SC but you DEFINITELY don't have the right accent for that! 😉😄. I'm not familiar with the B2261 (I assume it's a European model?) but it appears to be similar to my LX2610 which I am loving. Thanks! The Low Countries I'm referring to are the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg in Europe. That is also why the Netherlands is called the 'Netherlands' 😁 In a large part of the country we need to continuously keep pumping the water out of the land to prevent flooding it again. The B2261 is indeed a 26hp European model.

In principle 420 kg as specified. But I'm currently looking into this, since I'm also curious myself. So give me some time and I will give you the practical answer.
