Thanks for making this video. The new parts cost about 200 dollars right now as of Dec 2023. Still way cheaper than buying a new range.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing and gonna try to repair our one inner burner on the right side which has 3 burner sizes. It’s just the inner burner that isn’t working.

Great video - should emphasize testing the switch first. Also, some replacement heating elements are coming with composite materials so fragile they practically disintegrate on a touch - not remotely possible to replace clips without destroying the insulation outer ring.

What would you do if the burner was staying on high even when the knob is turned on low. It’s the front right. It only seems to have one temp.
@mrpb101 Жыл бұрын
We had that problem that I actually fixed today. The bad part on our range was an Infinite Switch, which is the part the knob turns. It should be an easy swap unless you have a Samsung. Sometimes they re-engineers parts so one needs to splice wires. Good luck!

How can regulation can be repaired . Both rings works on maximum capacity doest matter if we change values on switch to low
@TheVeronskieChannel2 жыл бұрын
That sounds like a switch problem if both rings work on high. Try searching for switch repair or replacement and also search how to test the switch. FYI, you turn the knob on front of stove to regulate the switch

Any videos on how you tested the switch?
@TheVeronskieChannel2 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael, there was no need to test the switch per se because I could see the location where the element had burned out. If I had not seen this I would have tested the switch. I know part of the switch work because half of the burner lit up when I turned it on. If I had not discovered the burned out portion the next step would have been to fully test the switch.

Most other videos show that you have to remove the back you show a very different and much easier fix? I expect most videos are produced by repair guys who do not want you to do your simple fix????
