Hi mate - I was interested in Kirlian photography in the 1960's - 70's; if you want to be blown away with it and seeing an organic object's life force representation [my explanation] repeat your experiment with any fresh leaf, photograph it and then physically cut the leaf in half across the short axis of the leaf and repeat your experiment! Not sure if your system will show this phenomenon or not but what I saw with the half-leaf image was the complete corona for the whole leaf and you could clearly see the half leaf outlins against the full leaf corona! Simply amazing and as a now retired scientist still difficult to explain or understand this effect. You can experiment with any number of different substances and the coronas are all different. keep up the really great work and cheers from Down Under.
@PeteVanDemark7 жыл бұрын
Try same with a feather then cut 3/4" off the tip and check it again.
@zeitGGeist7 жыл бұрын
the trail left is fro water on the glass. to do this properly, would would need to measure, cut the leaf, then measure using a DIFFERENT plate and you'll see there is no left over "life residue"
@TBrewer646 жыл бұрын
It's water vapor leaving the leaf. Not some mystical life aura. You could soak a synthetic sponge in water and it would also have a Kirlian aura.
