These would be good for paranormal investigators. Awesome builds Mirko! Thanks for sharing!

i build your geophone/seismograph project today, thank you for sharing it. I suggest you check the BISS0001 chip that can be found on HC-SR501 PIR modules, as they can be used with batteries (50uA quiescent current), and can turn ON a microcontroller for up to 7 minutes (the BISS0001 includes an amplifier, comparator and timer). The HC-SR501 uses a pyroelectric effect sensor to detect human presence but I tested with a piezzo disc and your magnetic pendulum as vibration sensors.

A very excellent project, instruction and video. Thank you. I was impressed with the different use applications, especially that it can detect water on the bottom of a metal container. It brings to mind another capacitive sensor use - to measure the level of water in a tank... The sensor is nothing more than two copper pipes of the same length and, having different diameters. The smaller diameter piece is centered and secured inside the larger diameter piece. The capacitance of the sensor is read, when the tank is dry. It is read, again, when the tank is full. The volume of water in the tank will be linear, across the capacitance range, between the empty and full readings. I have only read about this sensor. I would very much like to see you make a video of it, so I could see it in action. Thank you for your consideration of this project.

What's the thickness and size of aluminum plates?
@MirkoPavleskiMK5 ай бұрын
The dimensions are not significant, and in my case they are 12 cm x 5 cm, the thickness is 0.5 mm
