Good DIY video! Do you just sell the plate rivets? I got a new plate but no rivets.

Todd do those fluted screws go all the way thru the cover? Big deal if they do?

Hey Todd what happens when the rivet head twists off? Two came out easy but the last one was not so friendly 🙁

If the head breaks off you are pretty much in bad shape... as that little rivet is fluted and I have tried to drill one out and it never works , inorder to re-use that cover and still have the plate I will make new holes offset of the old ones so those will still be covered by the new plate . - Todd

This video shows how 14 out of 15 covers will have their patent plates removed. Then you get that one cover with the 3 corroded rivets... those rivets are HARD! I know as i've done over 200 timing covers...
