Quick question, is the DJI 2 control compatible with the Avata 2, or should I buy the DJI RC 3?

Thank You! No, not at all. I’ve been flying around a lot with them on and haven’t noticed any difference, they are very light.

I bought the dust covers, but what I worried about post purchase, would these cause over heating of the rotary engine?

I haven’t had any problems when flying with them on, but I used them in light rain a few times.

YES THEY WILL! They restrict airflow for sure! Not a good idea to use those.

Both are great! They make me feel way more at ease when crashing, which I tend to do when I get a little cocky 😂

You have to pick one: mini 4 pro or avata 2. Which one will it be?

I'd pick the Mini 4 Pro. I'm not a massive fan of fpv, I use it to get over my motion sickness lol.

@@PhillipSkraba I have my mini 3 pro and ended up buying the googles integra and rc 2 motion later. They are stored most of the time, I like using them but I'm afraid of hitting the mini 3 pro, which is very fragile... thinking about purchasing the Avata 2 just so the Googles and RC Motion don't get rusty

Avata 2, at least if the drone lost, it cost only $421 for brand new avata 2 drone only.

Those prop guard bumpers are essentially scratch protection only. If the drone falls from 25m or above the prop guards will likely bend or break and render the drone unflyable. I learned this the hard way when skimming the top of a tree. Unfortunately the type of plastic used for thr prop guards is not very durable. Unlike the avata the avata 2 is built in a unibody style design so fixing and replacing parts is barely an option. Essentially all the aftermarket prop guard protectors are useless in a real crash, just scratch protection

Yes! The Insta360 GO 3S does have gyro data in Freeframe Mode, so you can use it with an FPV drone and export to GyroFlow 🤘🏻

DO NOT USE THOSE RED MOTOR DUST COVERS!!!!! They restrict airflow to the motors and can cause overheat/shutdown. NOT a good idea and DJI will kinda frown on replacing it for that reason. Just a bit of advice for all.🤙🏼

Nah, they’re fine, used them a bunch of times. Also, if anything does happen, always pull a Shaggy.
